Congrats United in signing Owen.. I was always hoping he went to ManU... I hope he shines at united.. the only thing you guys have to worry about is he always gets injured.. lawl... and i wonder how liverpool fans will react when he plays against them next season..

Still feels weird naming Owen as one of our striker/a part of our team. I'll probably get used to it pretty quickly once he scores a hat-trick at Anfield.

Quote:
MADRID BOSS IN THREAT TO END THE PREM
then in the actual article:
Quote:
Asked if he would put his full weight behind a Super League he added: "Yes, but without abandoning national leagues."

"If I play for Manchester City I don't think the United fans will feel I am a traitor."

He added: "They have to remember that at least as far as I know I have been thrown out of the club and I have to study the best offers available."

"It has come about because I could not stand my sporting situation at Manchester United any longer," he continued.

"My first year was good in all senses. I played in the games and felt respected by the coach but in my second year some strange things happened that I still do not understand.

"After the game at Old Trafford where Liverpool beat us (4-1, in March), Ferguson ignored me almost as if I was to blame for the defeat when really Liverpool dominated us all over the pitch.

"After that the fans called for me to be in the team but he never took the advice on board because he always knows best.

"I gave everything for Manchester United and people know that. For that reason I don't deserve the way things have ended up."
Quote:
"Ferguson still believes I will be at United next season. He thinks I will return.

"But I know what I want and I know that Ferguson did not respect me as a player. Before Berbatov arrived in Manchester, Ferguson told me, 'You will still be the starting striker, so be cool'. But he lied to me! That is why I know I will not return to United.

"What I want to do next season is score against United. I promise I will not celebrate in front of the United fans but I will shout in Ferguson's face.

"You can be sure of that - and it will be one of the most beautiful things I have done in football."
Tev is treading on thin ice here.

Well Tevez doesn't deserve the treatment he got from Fergie. Fergie seems to do that to some of his players. a fair few players over the years have played well yet didn't get a deserved starting spot under fergie.

Fergie is 2 faced, thats why he is such a good manager lol

Tevez basically gave fergie the 2 fingers when he scored his last goal

do you really think that??

the game would die for normal fans who support big clubs, no-one could travel to games every week across the continent.

if it happens, im supporting AFC Liverpool

Tevez needs to move on, whats happened has happened. No point crying over spilt milk as they say.

He'll get his 100k a week at city, he'll start the games he wants to, and he'll be adored again, so I don't know why he has to keep bringing up the United saga, it's done.

I also don't think Tevez actually said any of that second qoute.. most likely twisted by the media to make it a readable story.

End of the day, does SAF give a damn? no.

I just read in the news of the world that eto'o is willing to drop his wages demands to join man utd. It just shows you just because you have money, like man city, it doesn't get you who you want. Obvioulsy I think he wants Barcelona to offer him more money to stay and he's just playing mind games for more money. Don't get me wrong he would be a great signing but it's highly unlikely it will happen.

Which there is no chance of happening, he will be back in his stables, telling himself how great he is in 6 months time.
