Huntelaar would be a good signing I think, though he wouldn't challenge either of Rooney or Berbs for a starting place.

if we cant get benzema for me he is the next best thing, sure he isnt as gifted as benzema or many other strikers we have been linked with but he guarentees goals. watching him play wont be pretty though

7 goals in 11 games for madrid in half a season is extremely impressive and shows he has got enough to play in a top league (that was a question mark when he was at ajax)

how accurate is mirror usually?

if Fergie sees Nani as not improving, then it could be worth it to keep monies as hefty as they can be so we can have more leverage when we make that big signing... i reckn a big signing will happen later on.

Yeah I suppose. I just think it's a bit harsh on Berbatov if we buy Benzema. Or can Benzema play on the wing?

It's not bad to options, better than relying on Welbeck and Macheda when Berbatov is tired/playing poorly.

Rooney is versatile and Benzema isn't so much but you might end up playing 4-3-3.

Anderson is improving and Fletcher is too you could do with Hargreaves coming back from injury but unless you tie up Silva or someone similiar I guess.

i've been fluctuating about this Zema talk... But out of the available STs, Karim is the obvious best option... thing is, how probable an option is it?

I am just hoping he wont mind benching some of the time.. with the WC coming, he might prefer more time on the pitch this season, and thats why im not seeing it as probable, despite the money being readily available.

Maybe we should start all 3 but I aint sure, we definitely need 3 class strikers in our squad.

I would think Benzema is good enough to force himself into the team.

Besides, Tevez didn't play the most matches in the world either, but he still got frequent call-ups to Argentina. And to be completely honest, I think Benzema would provide a lot more goals than Tevez did.

thing that people continue to see past is the fact that certain players improve with more time on the pitch, especially attacking ones.... Tevez as you said, didnt play very often, and hardly challenged his own abilities when he DID play. thus, his gols were minimal to say the least (for someone of his quality) and he was seen as the lesser version of Rooney... < is debatable because had he played as much as wayne, u never know if he'd score more or score less... other players improve with more challenging play, which does not exactly mean MORE play full stop, just means starting for every "big" fixture... Tevez hardly started for any big fixture thus he was not regarded... at the same time, he was on loan, and was not really entitled to start over the actual members of the club.... makes sense..

Benzema may or may not score more than him, because imo we will still start Berbatov over him. . . why? because we only owe him that chance...

that being said, Benzema may or may not be keen on that status before he gets into the WC spell.... if he is, then fantastic, because his time to shine will be after the WC, as Berbatov's time is this coming season.
