tracks won't unlock on NFS High Stakes?

I recently got a laptop and installed NFS High Stakes. Now ive been doing the Knockout competition and have unlocked the tracks: Raceway 1,2 and 3. But now no matter how much i win no more tracks are unlocking. I have tried on all difficulties.

Any help/advice would be great. cheers.

I never had this problem back when my pc was so weak it could run this game. But now I suggest you install High Stakes on a strong pc which normally cant run the game, and find a patch for it that makes it work. I did so and everything was unlocked.

What do you mean by weak and strong? It works on my old,old,old PC and this is a brand new laptop.

0o well weak = pc with less than 1gb ram, no dual/quad core processor and some old graphics card. Thats what I meant, and strong is everything above.

Since you got a new laptop please tell me what are the stuff mentioned above^. If its strong - then i dont know how the heck you managed to run it without any patches or updates. If youd put it in my weak category then it should work, but must be a bug or something. Anyway search ND4SPDWorld - Need For Speed - NFS Downloads - 3250+ NFS Cars tracks utils - The latest NFS Carbon news for all the patches/updates/fixes or even mod Cars you need.

ok i downloaded patch and ran it but now the game dosen't even run(wouldn't have a clue what my ram,proccessors.are) don't even know what they are.) but a box comes up that looks like this..

Any idea what this means? but ill prob just give up, i don't know enough about computers to get it working

Dang! well first of all to check how much ram you have and which processor do this - right click on my computer and then select properties.A box should come up with text.

As for NFS4, Might be the reason I downloaded NFS4, since my bought cd wouldnt run, (must be scratched a lot or something, I bought it years ago) and applied the patch.

Try Google, im a bit busy now so cant help much, sorry.
