Default SSJ1-Goku's Rating for all NFS games

Ok I decided to do my own rating list, feel free to comment. Also I'd love it if EA could somehow view this, for it might help. Anyhow I rated each game for its time. (A game before the 21st century could not have had better graphics because of the technology back then.so thats why i did this.)

The Need For Speed (1995):

Graphics: Pretty good for that time, very uhm, catchy and whenever i see a screenshot i get all nostalgic!
9.5/10

Sounds
: Each car had a signature sound which was very cool.SFX is pretty good and perfect for its time, and the music is the best.I loved pushing escape just to hear the awesome menu music! 10/10

Gameplay: The game is very fun and fast.Full pack races are the thing missing in nowadays need for speed games, which just makes this game stand up even more! Menus are nice here, and its easy to get trough them and just in a few seconds you're in one of the fastest cars racing along on an alpine track, perfect. This is the first nfs game i've played (when I was about 2 yeras old), and I still do! However a lack of a minimap and some other minor stuff wouldnt let me rate this max.
8/10

Realism: Very realistic. Wikipedia:
Quote:
The first installment of the NFS was one of only two serious attempts by the series to provide a realistic simulation of car handling and physics without arcade elements (the other being Porsche Unleashed).
Definitely deserves a 10/10

Cars&Tracks
: Perfect. In my opinion this is what need for speed is all about! Though could use some more...9.5/10

The Need For Speed SE (1996):

Graphics: They could've improved graphics a bit too, oh well still pretty good! 9.9/10

Sounds: Same goes for the SFX 9.9/10

Gameplay: Minimap added + minor bugs fixed! 10/10

Realism: Somewhat improved engine. 10/10

Cars&Tracks: Some tracks added! 10/10

Need For Speed 2 (1997):

Graphics: Pretty nice, though they make the game a bit cartoony... 8.7

Sounds: Again the game features great sounds and music! 10/10

Gameplay: Isn't exactly what I imagined for a NFS game...it turned into an arcade type, but it was very very, VERY fun! 9.7/10

Realism: Not so realistic though..This could've been the perfect Need For Speed game if this was improved...4.4/10

Cars&Tracks: Tracks are perfect again just like cars, again perfect, woudln't change a thing! 10/10

Need for Speed 2 SE (1998 ):

Graphics: 3dfx!!! Very improved! But still kind of cartoony :/ 9.9/10

Sounds: 10/10

Gameplay: Improved engine, but still lack of police pursuits. 9.9/10

Realism: a BIT improved. 5/10

Cars&Tracks: whoa more cars! 10.5/10

Need for Speed 3: Hot Pursuit (1998 ):

Graphics: not so good..Could've been MUCH better. 7.3/10

Sounds: Pretty nice. 8/10

Gameplay: Police pursuit is back! Also a new mode to be a cop and chase other racers! Man this is great! Menus again are easy to handle. awesome! 10/10

Realism: Could've been better, thats all I can say. 7.5/10

Cars&Tracks: Great start, but whats this? Downloadable contnet, AND FREE! Perfect. 10/10

Need for Speed 4: High Stakes (1999):

Graphics: Pretty perfec to me.Also damage models included, which is great! 10/10

Sounds: Catchy music. Car sounds werent so good though..For some reason they're a bit weird.. 8/10

Gameplay: Well its pretty much the same as NFS3, though it could've used some improvement here and there. 9/10

Realism: VERY realistic.Car Damage included, not so fragile as Pro Street, which is awesome. Perfect in my opinion! 10/10

Cars&Tracks: Again, perfect. 10/10

Need For Speed 5: Porsche Unleashed (2000 ):

Graphics: Pretty nice. 8/10

Sounds: Nice music and great engine sounds as well as nice sfx. 7.7/10

Gameplay
: Again great menus, a nice story mode and great features! 9.5/10

Realism: Most realistic NFS ever as some say. 10/10

Cars&Tracks: I dont really like the fact that the game is a porsche cars only game...but the tracks were very nice! Still like to play it now and then for the tracks and realism. 5.5/10

Need For Speed 6: Hot Pursuit 2 (2002):

Graphics: Perfect for that time, awesome! Even now, I dont think much should be fixed if they re-made this sort of a game, awesome. 10/10

Sound: Great engine sounds and awesome music even though its not 'original' but bought..oh well. 9.9/10

Gameplay: Great menus, awesome story mode, be the cop is in, perfect perfect perfect! 10/10

Realism: Not so realistic :/ Again just like NFS2, if this was improved it could've been the best NFS game ever. However its much better than in NFS2! 8.5/10

Cars&Tracks: Pure perfection! Its like taking all the best cars from the previous NFS games and putting them in a single game.A lot of tracks are featured (sprint and circuit type) which can be played in all sorts of directions! PERFECT. 10/10

Need For Speed 7: Underground (2003):

Graphics: I remember not being able to run this game on my pc at max graphics..it was rather choppy! Great FX! 10/10

Sound: Yuck. Music is definitely not something I'd put in a NFS game. But the sounds make up for it...a bit. 3.4/10

Gameplay: Well I miss a lot of stuff. But customizable cars? neon! nitro! Woah, awesome!
9/10

Realism: Mhm, not so realistic. 6.8/10

Cars&Tracks: NOT something I'd put in a NFS game...I hoped the next nfs will be different (UG 2) so gave it a 5. 5/10

Need For Speed 8: Underground 2 (2004):

Graphics: Pretty great for that time. 8/10

Sound: Improved a bit. 7/10

Gameplay: Well some more customizations, engine improvements here and there, though the game is more of a patch for Underground 1.I expected more, but well free roam makes up for it... 8/10

Realism: Could've been improved. 6/10

Cars&Tracks: Okay, thats enough.VERY disappointed with this one... 1/10

Need For Speed 9: Most Wanted (2005):

Graphics: Very improved! Again I wasnt able to run it on max! good job guys! 10/10

Sound: Better music, something more fitting for NFS, great! 8.2/10

Gameplay
: Improved, greatly! Day driving! More stuff, and cops finally! Whats a street racing game without cops? Great! 10/10

Realism: well, a bit more realistic than Undergrounds. 7/10

Cars&Tracks: We're getting back! Great! Could've been better, but well I enjoyed these as well! 6.7/10

Need For Speed 10: Carbon (2006):

Graphics: Could've been better now...7/10

Sound: Could've done more as well! 8/10

Gameplay: Night again! >=/ Ok we got helpers, but man..this is definitely NOT what I was hoping for. 4.5/10

Realism: Not realistic again. 6.4/10

Cars&Tracks: Ok we're back to the same old bad stuff. 4/10

Need For Speed 11: Pro Street (2007):

Graphics: Great! Again EA does a nice job! 10/10

Sound: Return of Electro type music, which makes me nostalgic for the good old NFS games! 9/10

Gameplay: Ok well could've been better, but still good and VERY fast! On the other hand Menus are very very bad. 5.2/10

Realism
: Ok if a term Over-realistic exists, then this is definitely it.Cars are very fragile and weird..6/10

Cars&Tracks: Ok good cars are in, tracks seem better, yup great, but still EA should've just ditched the rice-type cars.Aaaand yeah. Downloadable content made me very ****ed off about this.(WHYYY PAYYY) 7.3/10

Need For Speed 12: Undercover (2008 ):

Graphics: Could've been better considering GRID, which was released a year ago and had 10x better graphics! 7/10

Sound: Could've been better I guess, but nice SFX. 8/10

Gameplay: I'm very disappointed with this area. The game isn't much fun and the menus are hard to handle, I've seen countless posts on how to sell your car and similar stuff 4/10.

Realism: Ok, just how can a cop drive side-by-side with a Mclaren f1/Bugatti Veyron? what the heck? 5/10

Cars&Tracks: Ok its great. A lot like pro street but without having to pay for the best cars! 8/10
