Ashes Cricket 2009 beta 1/beta 2 patches now out.

Anyone who bought Ashes Cricket 2009 and wasn't impressed, you need to get hold of these patches (both of them). They improve the game so much!

Among the fixes:

Edges work properly.
Spinners are great fun now.
Run rates in Tests (on hard) are stunningly realistic.

and much, much more!

If you bought it and returned it, well that was a little premature of you, wasn't it?

Note: As yet, the patch is only out for PC retail version. No downloadable versions currently work with the beta, but the full patch will work fine. Console versions will be patched when the full patch is released (no release date as yet).

It's now regarded at Planetcricket (who know their stuff) as the best cricket game ever - even better than the venerable old BLIC '99.
