That's what I said earlier in the thread, at the moment yes. It's very easy after a few games only, once you get used to the 360°, to dribble several players..Especially if you're a decent dribbler in previous PES games..

I thought this one was supposed to encourage more passing, not more dribbling...

You can play this game the way you like really. I find it hard to dribble around defenders for example.

And yeah AI is limited to movement, but has some scary plays which make your jaw drop for a while

. Messi is real threat. I mean it. This little fellow can dribble like crazy O_o then pass to his partner, cross to Ibra and ya know you're in deep sh*t xD.

Oh yeah Doc there are aerial battles here

. Wanna hear your opinion of the demo tho.

So did I, so that's a little disappointing but it's just a demo and I'm not jumping to any conclusions since there are major bugs regarding the defense that will be fixed in the final version so..

Either way, I'm sure the AI will use 360 either in the full game, or in the first patch. 2hrs 2mins to go. My system is capable of 400-500kbps, this is going at 110kbps!

Do we know how old the demo build is?

Download PES2010_PC_DEMO_Setup.exe
Oh maybe because its overlaoded with thousands of users.
If you tried early morning you would've got it as less people were overloading the server.

Played two games so far
I will be very suprised if someone would buy FIFA 10 PC over this
I tihnk PES is back
I am playing at full settings 1680x1050 with 60 fps constant
Contrast this with FIFA 10 PC where my frame rate is capped at 30fps and it looks like lalalala compared to PES
One thing that I have noticed though is the response time
KONAMI need to improve this as this is the one thing PES has always had over FIFA
This a must buy from me
EA SPORTS you should take some lessons from KONAMI on how to treat your PC GAMERS

I've been hammering the demo and my verdict is that despite a few niggling problems I can definitely be satisfied playing this for a year.

At first I was afraid I couldn't play the game in high because on low response times were good but on high they were atrocious, however, I fixed the response time by turning off "wait for v-sync".

Now the game is smoother even though a bit fast. I would like to upgrade my graphics card for perfect gameplay with perfect graphics but not this year unfortunately.

I agree with all the opinions previously posted. The game is very nice though the defenses can be penetrated a bit too easily even on top player. Which I think is a good thing sometimes, it emulates real life in the way teams like spain and barca can cut you open with a single pass.

I found germany to be suitably defensive and sometimes difficult to pass, but maybe this is due to the short match time rather than the game AI. I also found that the AI is amazing at keeping the ball and passing it about, especially spain and barca, unlike pes 2009 slide tackles are less effective in regaining possession due to limited range. Players like messi can really run you ragged with feints and deft moves and I hope to figure out how to use his incisive run soon.

The card system and new tricks are extremely baffling and I haven't even begun to look into them.

The keepers can pull off some good stuff, especially dealing with corners and crosses well, however sometimes they display an inability to hold onto a ball. I haven't tried manual keeper; things like that are for two player matches. Shots are powerful and driven now, I scored some really satisfying goals with gerrard.

Even with my 360 controller configured for x-input I still need another controller before I can play with my friend, which is very annoying.

More to follow....I need to get back to PES it's too addicting!

You need to think. As for defense being lalalala... Hmm it's pressing very high and it seems to be the problem. You can play back through ball and it's 1 on 1... But... Goalkeepers are pain in the lalala. Such terrific tackles they make:/.

True and true.. keepers have always been like that in PES. But about the shots, god man, I'm so happy we managed to get rid off this horrible PES08/09 shooting style..Already two goals from 30m and It's only a start.

Oh yes hahaha man I never have problems to dribble the keeper or lob him ( with R1/RB ) in 1on1 situations but for the first time in years I tried to dribble the keeper and he caught me

I am playing on a laptop. Old one too. With an ATI Radeon HD 3400 card and an AMD Turion Ultra 2.2 GHZ processor. This can most definitely be considered a lower end. Is yours much better? This would explain response time issue. The better your hardware the higher levels you can run the game at and maintain response. Makes sense to me. If info0ply's machine is strong also that is further confirmation.

Yeah my comp is all right ( E8500 4Ghz, Geforce 9800 GTX ) but the game blocks the FPS at 60 with or without the V-Sync anyway so you're saying you don't even get 60 ?

Maybe that's because of that "frame skipping" feature which maintains the game speed even if you have less than 60 fps.

Maybe the AI's defense is set to 'high up the pitch'? Can you change it, if so try setting them to stay deep.

Odd. Maybe there's an option in the sounds to turn it up or down. There should be, that's for sure.

animations : good but need more more work
gameplay : oh god with 360 the game is bloody good , also the easy bloody goals are gone with running with one player all the pitch hahaha all gone

AI : Really improved but it's kinda easy
if online works well without lag , i can say this game is the best 4 me i am gonna but it anyway with champions league and international and cooperation cups , the game will be amazing more than it is now
