Default Online Co-Op Vs CPU

I am bitterly disappointed with my purchase of FIFA 10. I was looking forward to playing online in co-op mode with a friend against the CPU. Unless i am mistaken this feature does not exist. I notice though that it does exist in Madden 10 so the feature has already been developed. Can anyone advise me why this wasnt put in as i would not have bought the game otherwise? PES 10 has got it included i am considering buying this instead and trading fifa 10 in against the cost of this.

Many Thanks

ditto. i have tried every way i can think of, including setting up an online team play lobby and having myself and my friends on one side, but as soon as the counter reaches 0:00 the game quits. i regularly play with my friends online coop in other types of games e.g. vegas2. we enjoy playing together in fifa when we can meet up IRL, but we live about 30+miles away from each other. can't understand why this is not possible using unranked conditions - surely there is no way this could be exploited.

if anyone knows of a way to play 2 or more vs CPU online, please post here

thanks and goodbyeee.

This would be sooo great..

Ive searched far & wide for any possibility of playing cooperatively online with a friend against the computer without any luck. I really dont think this type of functionality is available in FIFA 10, which is a shame. Especially considering it the mode would seem like a valid (and popular) idea/request to include.

Big disappointment..
Not enough to turn me to PES however -- FIFA 10 is still, at this point, the greatest soccer game ever made.

elementkid1021.. that's no help. Can I play co-op with up to 7 friends against the computer?

Still no idea why I cant play my manager mode online with a friend just like he was sitting next to me playing locally.

The EA Dev guy answered this question the other day in his post and he said that is for sure going to be looked at in the future but forget about it in FIFA 10

What I think is funny? When I play an online team game and every person on the other team quits, the game doesn't just give you their forfeit. Your allowed to continue play WITH OTHER ONLINE PLAYERS THAT ARE ON YOUR TEAM against the CPU for the remainder of the match...so obviously the game is capable of doing it. They just haven't added that option yet. Kinda infuriating.

Thanks for the info, essienblaster. It really does seem EA overlooked this basic, core online multiplayer mode in favor of promoting online leagues & Be-A-Pro (online & offline)..

This brings up another question from me.. Perhaps for another thread, but are there any online modes in FIFA 10 (omitting 1v1), that I can get away from that horrendous (imo) third-person view (camera following behind the player/ball)? Last night I played with a friend against 2 other online players.. but the camera angle remained behind the ball -- and I was even able to switch among players on my squad. What gives? Am I missing a camera option of some sort? Thanks!

just go into the camera settings and change the online be a pro setting to "tele" or whatever you like. i play virtual pro on tele, never got used to the pro camera, specially playing as a midfielder or defender, you need to be able to see behind and around you
