Can't Play Friends Online?

I have been trying all day to play my friends online by inviting them and vice versa, but it's just not happening!!

Any ideas?!

I got the same problem!

I also want to know what's the problem is. We had not these problems in FIFA09!

Same problem here, all ports are opened up as per the FAQ in the manual

Also, please provide the approximate times that you sent the invites.

There was numerous game requests between myself (CGA_FHT) and Maverick177uk & sdg79 at around 11.30am & 12noon on 3/10/09

this is a copy and paste from the port settings that i have assigned to my ps3.. still no joy playing my friends. 10 friends,, able to play 0 ... please some one advise as im still not able to play ...

On PSN. The accounts are "rs990" and "rumcum", and the failed invites have taken place between 8pm and 11pm UK time on Friday and Saturday.

the id's that are affected are: narmi47 NOMIE-007 GONE-TIPS Z3D-Z3D

Im having the same problem on the PS3 : gunner_71 (me) and rangers_40 (mate) ,we tried for over an hour between 9.30 and 10.45 we can play other people online that are not on our friends list.

Please help !!!

Same problem, what a load of rubbish, biggest game of the year and this happens. I tried (Hotine) to invite my cousin (dwmaddog) numerous times but most recently today 5/10/09 at midday approx. Please help

Same problem (Foxy_7 and BC76 ID's) last night and Fri 2/10 between 10pm and 1am. Managed to setup a team play with just the two of us which worked. Starting to consider PES... Hurry up EA and sort this out!

i am having the same problem. ade_2005 N jakeyboi85 we both been trying to have friend match yesterday and day before. around 2-3pm.

My account is sbrysonuk and my friends account is soanecold - we have sent invites from 6pm onwards most days since Fifa 10's realise with no joy!

I have same problem, last night (5/10/09) sweet-savi -v- savi_21 (around 11:30p.m.)

Managed to get a game by going through BAP - Teams Friends.. But its not the same. Game play was slower.

Have tried now on several occassions but same problem. We can both see each other, but cannot alter the team.. If I do Invite for instance I can see savi_21 has joined game invite but on his screen he can see Real Madrid as his team and I can see Liverpool (our default teams!) Very frustrating.

I sent a complaint email to EA yesterday in regards to this & even highlighted the URL of the thread to give them an insight into the amount of people with this problem. I got the standard response stating I would get a further response within 24hrs, so far there's just over 10 minutes left on that deadline! lol
