Ladies and Gentlemen, boys and girls. Roll up, roll up for the greatest show on earth... (well the playstation, well fifa10, ok these forums......probably!) CCC is back.

Players and thier team invited back are as follows:

Last years contreversial season was won in simular circumstances by RG's Crystal Palace and they will be looking to be up there challenging once again. But the competition will be fiercer than ever, Aldo will be chomping at the bit to reclam his title after missing out in the last minuates of the season and smiley will be looking to take Coventry back to the top after a couple of season dominence in the past under a previous manager. I think there are one or two others who could come from the pack and go all the way also.

As we were unable to do it last time out this season will boast a play off competion at the end too. This means that the teams finishing 3rd to 6th will compete for the right to finish with a bit of added pride. This battle will also be a tough one to call as will the rest of the table with anyone capable of beating anyone. Certainly the managers of the promoted teams will be looking forward to thier teams improvment in stats.

If the season runs smoothly then we will also include a CCC lge cup competition and i'm open to a cross lge FA Cup if there are reliable lges to combine with.

RULES

Usuall rules of previous seasons apply as does the RESPECT message that sometimes got ignored all to often last season. Please try to except peoples difference in skill level / tactics. As long as no one is trying to gain a regular advantage by exploiting "glitches" in the game then anything that goes on in the real game goes on in the CCC.

Due to several people highlighting the oppertunitys possible open by playing through the Hub this season please refrain from doing so. I know there are still some connection issues between players so if possible try to save these matches untill EA have discovered a solution. If not then people consistantly playing through the Hub will be dealt with by the disaplinary panel. This goes for all other issues/problems that may arise throughout the season. Most of us have been in this lge for a few seasons so shouldn't need reminding of all the other rules and i hope as adults we will adhere to them.

As ever we have a number of very keen players waiting to take over if anyone drops out or falls to far behind on games, so please try and keep up with games. That doesn't mean the season needs to be completed in 2 weeks!

Thanks once again to Phil who has agreed to continue to run the lge republic tables for us. I have another idea up my sleeve to add to the CCC experience and i will be "in talks" with someone who knows more about this subject than me.

Great to see this start again, I'll sign in later/or in the morning, but only playing clubs tonight so bare with me!

NO PLAYING THROUGH HUB FOR ME THIS SEASON - As I said many times, just wanted the opportunity to use the youngsters but due to the rubbish ea coverage of online leagues was unable to, unless through hub. Now thankfully, Clyne, Pinney etc are all in and I'm more than happy with the squad. No Rui Fonte you lot will be glad to know, he's in the Portugese league this season. But in his place super Freddie Sears, who i'm hoping will be more successful scoring than currently in real life.

Just for warning lads, don't give away any freekicks close to the 18 yard box

I was quite pleased with Palace's point up at PNE, though we need to start turning some of these draws into wins again, thats 3 draws in the last 4.

DERBY COUNTY 1-0 BRISTOL CITY

Commmons

City get off to a slow start at a soggy pride Park on thier opening day of the season. derby took a 1st half lead when a briiliant low cross skimmed off the wet surface and was met by Kris Commons. Derby looked a threat down the right with Lee Croft moving like he's lost a couple of stone and had jet proppelled roller skates fitted. the reds went close on a few occasions once with new signing Alvaro Saborio going round the keeper only for his touch to take him to wide to finish. later he was through again only for the derby keeper to win a 50/50 tackle.

For that brilliant cross alone derby and hags deserved the points. well played mate.

Yeah well played sarge draw would have been fair result as i rode my luck a few times so happy with my 1 st 3 points of the season
