First the GREEN ARMY Now the RED AND BLUE ARMY Come on you EAGLES! Your attack was shocking, wasting three clear cut chances, Lita was greedy at 0-0 and went for glory instead of playing the easy pass to Johnson across the keeper. So Super DARREN AMBROSE scores his 10th of the season, he once was a clown, he saw them go down! Now he's flying high as an Eagle! ![]() I'm Glad All Over!

Honestly wouldn't look to Strachan as your saviour, he's not got much experience of the football league really, and can't see him doing what he did with Southampton with you. Wouldn't get your hopes up about a Premiership return straight away. Too many form teams at the moment, Forest and Bristol City etc.... Even Palace have only been beaten once in the last ten now, we've just drawn too many.

You was the better side in the first half and until you scored, we deserved to be 1-0 down. Once you scored we were the better side gave them a kick up the lalalala, Murphy deserved to be sent off, no idea why he did it because even though it looked like it was going in there was a defender behind him who could have probably reached it. The keeper you brought on maybe could have saved the free kick he seemed to lean back from it, the third the keeper fumbled it and let Burgess challenge him then led on the floor feeling sorry for himself the forth was just a wicked deflection but in the end it could have been 6 or 7, Ormerod also hit the bar in the last minute. Your players made some strange decisions when they were in front of goal like when Hayes was through in the first half instead of hitting it hard and low to the far post he just hit a nothing cross over the keeper. Your wingers always had to have a touch also when they had a chance of a first time cross which would have put us under more pressure.

Blackpool 4 - 1 Slalalalahorpe United
by TangerineTed (U7383100) 07 November 2009 Date: 7 November 2009 Venue: Bloomfield Rd Competition: Championship Attendance: 7760 Player of the match: Charlie Adam Blackpool today welcomed Slalalalahorpe Utd to Bloomfield Rd and extended their winning home run to 7 games (6 league and one cup). The conditions were dreadful. It had rained heavily all morning and did not let up for the match itself. It is an absolute scandal that the visiting fans are charged £24.50 to get drenched and they will not have been cheered by the football on offer. However, I will gladly welcome conditions like that for our next home game and will not feel in the slightest bit sorry for the visiting fans. It was armed forces day at Bloomfield Rd and the day's proceedings were kicked off by the Salvation Army band and current service personel welcomed the teams on the pitch and joined the players in the centre circle for a minute's silence for the fallen soldiers. They were then introduced at half time and one World War II veteran made the half time draw. Blackpool made three changes from the team that drew at Doncaster last week. Vaughan was missing with injury and Eardley again missed out. Euell and Ormerod dropped to the bench and in came Adam, Bouazza and Clarke. The first half was a bit of a none event and the best chances fell to Slalalalahorpe who should have buried at least a couple. Blackpool did strike the post though in the tenth minute. A curling shot from Clarke folling his great run deserved more. Baptiste had a chance before half time but dithered and Pool had Gilks to thank for a couple of decent saves. The second half was just five minutes old when Slalalalahorpe took the lead. Seip inexplicably messed around in his own half and gave possession away and the Slalalalahorpe player was left one on one and lifted the ball over Gilks into the net. Blackpool were level 10 minutes later but not before Slalalalahorpe had a great opportunity to double their lead. Blackpool managed to clear after an almighty scramble in the penalty area. Blackpool's goal arrived through Ian Evatt's third of the season. A free kick was played out to Baptiste who crossed and Evatt's header looped into the far side of the net. The equaliser galvanised Pool and they went in search of the lead. On 65 mins Clarke robbed the Slalalalahorpe centre half, the keeper, Murphy, rushed out and blocked, the ball fell to Bouazza who looked to lob the ball into the open net. The ball was going in but was saved by Murphy who was standing in the D. It was the easiest red card decision the ref will ever have to make. Slalalalahorpe took their time bringing on the reserve keeper and then Adam made sure that justice was done by scoring an absolute unstoppable rocket of a free kick into the top corner. After the sending off it was all one way traffic and the visitors posed no threat going forward. Southern, who had had a shocking game, produced a moment of magic with a pile driver that was superbly tipped onto the bar by the keeper, Clarke should have buried the rebound but put it wide. The tangerines did not have to wait long for number 3. Charlie Adam played a quite magnificent ball into the penalty area for Crainey, Crainey looked to pick out Burgess but the cross was deflected. It should have been easy for the keeper but he spilled it at the feet of Burgess who simply could not miss. Blackpool continued to press and got their fourth with a minute a normal time left. The ball game out to Baptiste half way in the Slalalalahorpe half, he brought the ball forward, the crowd urging him to shoot and he did just that planting the ball in the bottom corner. The keeper will however be disappointed to be beaten at his near post. Slalalalahorpe thought they had a second in injury time but it was ruled off for offside and Blackpool nearly got a fifth when substitute Brett Ormerod curled a shot onto the top of the bar with the last kick of the game. A disappointing first half was in complete contrast to the second although the sending off probably gave the scoreline a slightly distorted look. The Pool defence was not at its best today and I remain to be convinced by the defending ability of Marcel Seip. JET will return to London having improved no end during his 3 month stay. It will be interesting to see if Holloway can convince Arsene Wenger to allow him to return to the seaside in January. The next two home games are against Preston and Barnsley and Pool will fancy their chances of making it 9 home wins in a row. that is a good report JJ

Bristol City 0-1 Leicester
Fryatt Bristol started off well, Leicester struggled to maintain any form of possession. With a slight adjustment of tactics, (and remembering West Brom have just beaten them 2-1 earlier) Leicester decided to take a little control. Not allowing Bristol much space it ended 0-0 at half time. Leicester came out after the break with a mission, a good passing move lead to Fryatts goal. If only Leicester can play like that consistently! The pressure remained throughout until the final whistle as you never know at 1-0! Well played, good match |

Cheers for the report Gary. Thats the thing with our keeper Murphy, hes abit like David James.. he can be outstanding for 6 or 7 games then he will just have 1 moment of madness that will always cost us... Our sub keeper is only from local leagues and only 20ish so im not going to jump on him.
Never expected much at Blackpool.. plus the form you was in and players we had out was always going to be tough.
