Hi guys,
Up until this month a web-site called www.auspes.com set up leagues for Pro Evolution Soccer players who play in Australia on the PC, 360 & PS3. This month PES 2009 league is set up for PC but the Xbox 360 League (with a little help from myself) has been converted into a FIFA 09 league. I encourage anyone living in Australia that likes participating in forum debates/and or want a few games of FIFA 09 with other Australian based players to sign up. Sign up for this months league will be open till either Friday or Saturday. If we can keep enough interest for this league I'm sure FIFA 09 will continue to be used in place of PES 2009. Hope to see you all soon. My name on auspes and xbox live is 'robovery' Peace. |

Hey Hitchy,
How are you mate? If you know anymore peeps let them know. The way it works is you add the players from the site as friends and arrange a mutual time to play them. Once the games have been completed you lodge the score on the web-site and the table updates accordingly. I think the half length is 7 mins... you host one game (record the score) and they host the other game (they record the score). You get three random teams to choose from... this month I got Inter, Juve and Sevilla so I've chosen Inter!

I've been looking for a new Aussie League for a bit, but I don't think I can be bothered organising the games through a forum. P.S. It's usually a good idea to not have any 5* teams available, makes for more fun/even gameplay. |

Hey dodgyaussie,
Nice one for signing up... the leagues will open tonight and then we cant start playing some games. All you do is add everyone from auspes and arrange to vs them through the web-site or xbox live... You host one game (7 min halfs) and they host the return fixture. Once you have finished the games you just need to record results (found under 'issue results') for the game you hosted... you can put comments in the field if you would like to describe key moments in the match.. i.e "Ronaldinho scored a 25 yard screamer with minutes remaining to snatch victory." ![]() As they are league games there is no extra time or penalties involved... I will post a topic in the forum with all the peeps xbox live gamertags... Look forward to playing you soon. Rob |

The games are pretty easy to set up... you can just leave a message in the shoutbox advising that you will be online tonight from say 8-9... and peeps will reply and meet you online for a game. It's your call mate... we currently have 8 in the league for this month and the leagues will continue on a monthly basis. It would be great to get like 24 players in the leagues and we could have 3 leagues of 8 with promotion and relegation etc.... When the domestic season finishes the admins usually run International leagues for a couple of months. No harm in joining but it's your call. Take care. |
