New Game idea!

i think that ea should produce a field hockey game, i mean there are basically all sports games but not this one. field hockey is a up and coming sport being more televised and popularity is growing! it could be a great game!!

Field Hockey is becoming,since the revolution of astro turf,simply huge.It is already the second highest participant sport in the UK above rugby and cricket(Both have ea games.)The possibilities are endless for a field hockey game...7 a-side,Premier One,Division 1,Old School Hockey on Grass,Penalty Shootouts,World Cups,Euro Champs,Indoor Hockey(both eleven and severn aside),International Tours you name it,Field Hockey has it. Controls wise, it wouldn't be disimilar to football (coincidently at my sons school in the second term MORE people chose to do hockey over football), x=pass, o=arieal(inside the D flick/drag Flick at goal), triangle=through ball/slap ,square=shoot square+R1=undercut, square+R1=reverse undercut, R2=Sprint, L2=tricks.....Defence: O=Jab, X=Low to the ground tackle, square=jocky player, triangle=two man tackling (PS2). That took me 5mins to figure out....how hard can it be for proffesionals...Ice hockey sells well in England, but Field Hockey would sell better....my son just had a field hockey party and all his mates are now joining clubs and agreed a hockey game would be a MUST buy....imagine the success of the game...especially as some top teams have semi pros playing who would show colleagues etc....it would be a hit if you got it right....the quick lineout system of Rugby 06 could be used for quick free hits etc....the set plays on Rugby 06 could be modified to use for teams short corners....FIELD HOCKEY IS BIG NEWS IN BRITIAN,GERMANY,DENMARK,EUROPER,THE SUB CONTINENT......ice hockey,isn't as big...the market is there...but the game isn't...do something!

You would be better placed to suggest this on the EA Sports Forum as EA Sports Big would not deal with such a title (I believe). Feel free to post your suggestion (if you haven't already) on the EA Sports Forum (there is a link along the top of this page), and see how other sports fans respond to your suggestion. Also, the EA Sports Forum is far more active, so you'll get more responses, too.
