Default SSX Blur Worries

I am a very very big fan of the SSX games and own every release, and after initial exitment at seeing a new game being released alarm bells started to ring, as what i was presented with was cartoon madness. I understand this is on Wii but i really hope to god this is not the route EA will be taking in future releases because in my opinion these type of cartoon like graphics are a step backward. take SSX On Tour for example apart from a few niggles that was such a huge improvment on the previous games which included editable life like characters, high speeds and more challenges with each game.
I would love to know if others agree with me in regards to SSX Blur.
In conclusion we should be moving towards more realisam for sports simulations and i causiously look forward to seeing what future releases will be like on other consoles, lets hope it good.

I agree that the cartoonesque characters seem like a step back for the series, however, the standard Wii games have a similar style about them and it may be that they are following that lead.
Also the surrealism of the SSX series is something that should never be lost, it's what makes the games. This may also be just for the Wii so other consoles can expect better graphics, characters, mountains, etc.

to be honest i thought the whol game was a bit rubbish the first time i tried it, the game ply was really hard to get used to but the more i play the more i like it. i'm getting used to how the nunchuck and remote work, altough there isn't much freedom for tricks, and those ubertricks? how hard are they to pull off. but the game generally is growing on me, whch is good.

I myself would prefer they stay away from cartoony graphics. They have advantages and disadvantages but i think a more real feel would suit the game better.
