why no patches for vista?

I have NfS Carbon Collectors edition. My Computer exceeds The Requiremnts to run the game. I changed the compatibility mode so at least the game can run, but on certain races the game crashes. I renamed the movies file and it works without any problem. But, why have ea not released a patch so the game runs on vista and shows the movies? If anyone knows a solution please let me know because i love the game, but this problem is really annoying! Many thanks.

The only patch they brought out was the 1.4, which let the game run on Vista, would it solve your problem l don't know.

lf you haven't got the 1.4 patch.

That's too bad. I've got my own copy but I can't make it work. I have only tried playing carbon on psp.
