Instead of bringing out this arcade like version of a American football game why don't EA concentrate on ironing out the bugs that live on in the Madden series? AND improving their servers in general!!!! Yes I know it's all about making money wher EA is concerned but if it plays like the NFL Street games did then I for one won't touch it with a barge pole! And BELIEVE ME I'm one hardcore NFL fan.
Does anyone have any information on how this game is shaping up? GO PATS! 16-0 and counting.....

It's made by a different development team entirely - it has nothing to do with Madden!
I really liked the Street series - the arcade style was a nice change of pace to the more simulation like Madden series (although I prefer Madden). NFL Tour looks to be taking a different direction, though (more towards Arena Football), and I'm intrigued - it looks like fun .Phenom |

Talking of Arena football can you ask your EA counterparts over in the States if the EA Arena football game is coming out of either of the next generation formats this year? I imported the first Arena game for the original X box console 2 years ago and I'm hoping a 360 or PS3 offering might in the pipeline this time around. I can import this on either format as I own a NTSC 360 and ofcourse the PS3 is region free.....
Thx, Mark.

Actually very good, considering it was the first attempt at a Arena game from EA sports. One rule is a pain on defence at is in the real AFL. When controlling a linebacker you can't move out of a imaginary box until after the play has started. You'd have to play it to understand. The 2 teams I like are the Orlando Predators and the New York Dragons. I hope you can obtain some info! Thx in advance, Mark.

Tke it there's no Arena game on the next gen formats this season then? The AFl season itself it's now 5 weeks in ! EA would have released a Arena game when the season started if they were going to make it this year using logic I suppose!!! Instead we get crappy NFL tour!

It IS a good thing! and I wasn't saying it wasn't! BUT the Arena league changed up the rule for the 2008 to allow the jack linebacker to leave the box!! So I guess the next time a AFL game is made by EA that new rule should implimented! ![]() Mark.

I bought NFL Street 2 for my PS2.
As I liked it very much, I decided to buy NFL Street 3 for PSP. (The only game I had on PS2 AND PSP before was Virtua Tennis, which is a must have on every console.) I can highly recommend NFL Steet 3 to everybody, especially as NFL Tour seems to be worse. It's fun to play on the PSP! |
