This may seem like the most simple thing but is your firewall blocking it?

I very much doubt it, I've added ports on my connection as well as my router...

I've done my very best to do so, and if it was the firewall, I wouldn't of been able to play it on the Release Date...

If thats the case, then, I might as well cancel it and go to BT, because since I'm paying towards a £64 bill to Virgin for an XL package, for 20mb which is unlimited (Which I very much doubt anyways, trading standards REALLY need to pick up their socks), then its kind of taking the ****...

It might be your ISP, maybe they cant handle the connection speed. I got it on PS3, wireless, and it is working fine. it sometimes disconnects before or after a race but during races its fine.

It wont be 20 mb, the speed depends on how close you are to the transmitter and it decreases depending on how far away you are.

Well on most days, I get like 15 mb, but that wouldn't stop me connecting...

So it kinda takes the ****, certainly when I'm wired, I would expect it on wireless, but not on Wired >=[

i sold my starting nissan car and used new mitsubishi evo. I used it very long because of its handeling. but then I got the Porsche 911 GT2 for free and used to to complete most highway-duels. But now i got the bugatti Veyron 16.2. it is is fast without any upgrades i got way above the 300 km/h (200 m/h) and that was even without nitro :P

I'm not that far into it as i tend to do alot of other stuff before deciding to game but currently i have an evo X i sold a Evo 9 to get all it's race parts it's pretty tight

Hey, i've got an Audi TT and it is FAST! The handling on the car is amazing i customized it a bit today after a race with a porsche 911 (that i lost to =( ) but dominated the race with the Audi AND won a pink slip race in which i chose the mitsubishi Evo which is a pretty good car aswell.

when you got some carpapers you can get that car unlimited in your garage so you can have loads of the same car in your garage and it is also for freeee! :P

I lost my porsche once becaus i could pay the fine when i got arrested, so i got the carpapers and had the car for free again.

i completed the game about 3 days ago now..and the car i used to do it...the lambo gallardo - enough pace to catch the veyron and better than the gt2 in the corners! max handling and acceleration..shame about top speed 222mph max.

But i've upgraded to a better vehicle now...the Nissan GT-R!
Using this car i pretty much dominated the game yet could not bring myself to sell the beloved gallardo!

Plus i've never been busted and took out 57 cops yesterday with the gtr

Had to use the vw scirocco for most of the game though!

I just spent 275k on the R35 after saving up 300k so I spent the rest of my money but couldn't afford any upgrades for it (only body kit). Anyway long story short I tried to do a checkpoint race at level 13 but failed it with police on my tail and ended up getting busted. So with only 2 grand in my bank I couldn't afford to pay the fine and my car had been taken from me. Now i am stuck with a fully upgraded Shelby GTR500 KR that can't win any races above level 11 and guess what I dont have any lvl 11 races left on my map. I can't even go back and re do the older races as they only offer me $500 per race with means I will have to complete 600 races before i get enough money to get a new R35. This is somewhat off topic but i'm ****ed off and can't be arsed to play the game anymore. The worst part was the police chase that got me for the first time in the game sent federal police and helicopters after me and my car was only at heat level 2, I didn't think you were supposed to get choppers on your tail untill at least heat lvl 4.

Anyway rant over maybe i'll just play the game online and see you there.

I only drive the Bugatti Vayron. It is the worlds farstest car.. and the farstest in the game.. i just love it! its looking so great! and sounds totaly awsome!

i dont know how its called on the english version of NFS but you can do every race again as many times you want there is a option for it when you push esc in the game, so choose a easy mission with much money to earn, that how you can keep earning money

and about the heat it is also depending on how the chase is going if you destroy loads of cops in 1 puruit you heat maybe not going up much but they are trying everything to stop you.

yeahh i tried that on heat level 1 (wingman level 1 )

took out like 30 cops and there were helicopters after me! + i lost a tire on a spike strip but managed to evade...barely.
