and nfs does not sorport that size is there going to be a way to sort that out ,, i mean i have to play the game with big black bars at the sides pls help

hi got this game today and installed it , then the issue started. ok it loads up then asked me to press enter so i do then it asks to load a game setting witch is cool. then when it starts to load it chrashes to desktop telling me it has stopped working. so the game basicly doesnt work ..

running vista sp1
geforce 8800gt 512mb
q66oo quad core 2.4ghz
3 gig ddr

all drivers are up to date and works on my friends similar machine..

please help

I'm sorry that you’re having difficulties with the game.

- What have you done so far to try to solve the issue?
- Do you get any error messages? If yes, what is the exact error message?

In order to best troubleshoot your issue, I'm going to need additional system information. Please send me this information from a program called dxdiag.exe. To do this:

· Go to Start -> Run.
· In the box, type the following: dxdiag
· Click "OK"
· Click the "Save All Information" button on the first screen of the application.
· Then on top of the "Save As" box that pops up, select Desktop (if it's not set to save there already), then click Save.
· Finally, attach the dxdiag.txt to your email reply.

If you have Windows Vista, follow these steps:

1. Right click on the menu bar and select Properties.
2. Click on the Start Menu tab.
3. Click on the Customize button.
4. In the upper window scroll down until you see Run command.
5. Click this check box and click Ok.
6. Click Start.
7. Click Run.
8. Type dxdiag in the available text field, and press OK.
* This will bring up the DirectX Diagnostic tool, which will give you a comprehensive report of the hardware in your computer.

After we receive this file we can continue troubleshooting the issues at hand and hopefully come to a solution.

In the meantime, try cleaning out your Temporary directory. Do not delete the folder itself, open the folder, select all of the contents, and then delete them.

1. Double click on "My Computer"
2. Double click on the C: drive
3. Double click on the "Windows" folder.
4. Double click on the "Temp" folder.
5. Hold the "CTRL" key and tap the "A" key to select all.
6. Tap the "Delete" key on your keyboard and accept the "Are you sure you want to delete these files" prompt.

You may get an error that some of these files can't be deleted. This is usually because they are currently in use, so let's end any program that would be using these temporary files.

1. Hold down the Ctrl, Alt, and Delete keys at the same time
2. Click the "Processes" tab.
3. Click on the gray bar in the middle column that says User Name to sort by user name.
4. Do NOT select anything for SYSTEM, LOCAL SERVICE, or NETWORK SERVICE.
5. Click on anything besides EXPLORER and TASKMGR for this User Name or other user names.
6. Click on END PROCESS
7. Repeat these steps until only explorer.exe and taskmgr.exe are open for this user profile.

Note that some applications may take multiple times before closing. Don't worry that you are permanently changing your system configuration; these applications will return when you restart your system.

I just bought the game, and when I get to the "Nike of time" job level the game crash to windows. any one suffer from the same problem? any solution? thanks.

The game works fine with the best graphic, no frame rate problem

i got a big problem!
the game sucks, where do i file a complaint for time and money wasted?

Oh yea and btw EA, is there any point for me to send my Dxdiag to you? i think ive done that 3 times soon and i never get a answer.

Do i have my own pile of dxdiags somewhere? burn em, cause this is probably the last time i buy a NFS game, maybe even a eagame.

there are a lot of complaints here and a few valid ones too.
if some official mod would at least acknowledge that it might settle some tempers ^^
the fact that they bring out a game which every 2 minutes refers to a website that doesnt exist does not help to improve EA's image either, tbh.

Since reading this, I am actually quite open to opinions, and I honestly think you have actually hit it on its head Bruno, reason is, because EA has had their great runs in history, but has this seriously been rushed? look at how EA is suffering now, since actually releasing it early, they have no Undercover website where players can show off their rides like their previous versions of the NFS series, and also take into account that is this just a quick release, because they are working on something new?

Reason I say this, is because that the PC version of Mirror's Edge has been delayed, so are they being much more careless on the NFS franchise?

Hi i got NFS undercover. i have been enjoying it. but i got problem which i can't find a way to sell my cars and make money. I have lotus elise, Mitsubishi lancer evo and dodge charger stingbee. you might be wondering where is my Nissan 240 but i have sold it somehow and cant remember how, now i wanna sell my cars but i dont know how please tell me how to sell.

3 problems
1st the frame rate on the ps3 skips alot will there be sum sort of update to sort this out ?
2ND thing photo mode i have taken photos and they say they have been uploaded to needforspeed.com. so where are they exactly?
3rd thing i read on this forum that the ps2 has no secrets menu well it does on the ps3 but there is no EA trax menu so i can turn of the songs i dont like on the game. if there is an EA trax menu on the ps3 can you please tell me where it is
BTW like this game just needs to sort out these three problems and ill like it even more.

I picked up NFS:Undercover on Saturday and i gotta say that i'm really disappointed!!! The game actually seems pretty good, but the ridiculus frame rate issues i've got on the 360 version make it basically unplayable. Really not happy about coughing up £40 for what appears to be an unfinished game. Who are the quality control and game testers for this?? They need firing, they're a joke!!!

Please pull your fingers out and get a patch sorted so that NFS:Undercover is playable.

i got mine through the post on friday came to play it saturday and third race in it froze up had to turn everything off and back on again to find it just kept doing it. been to game today and they swapped the game for another copy and its still doing it??? anyone else having trouble and is this anything to do the the update that had to be downloaded as soon as i put the game in my 360?

Yeah, I don't think this explanation will fly with retailers. You unsealed the box, you've used up an installation for that serial number and you expect they will let you return the game and give you your money back just like that?

Hi all
I have just been playing and i drove into nothing.When i say nothing i mean that the track disappeared and the car was left hovering in "bluescreen" like what film effects are made from. Im driving a Gallardo and I know the frame rate is not good but for the car to drive so fast that the background disappears completely is annoying because the whole ps3 locks up so you have to restart it ,then have 2 mins for the blue ray lazer to start working again.please let me know if there is a patch on its way to the ps store instead of those shamefull lazyboy car purchases
