Dude this needs patching when will EA learn how to make a good game and not screw up a game and now unless they redeem themselves with a big *** patch for need for speed undercover i and most people will not buy NFS again. i have need for speed on the panasonic 3DO were i think NFS was first made and i enjoy that more than undercover

I baught this game earlier today, in the mind set that it was going to be brilliant... oh was i wrong, graphics are terrable, game play is utteraly dissapointing, it doesn't tell you when you've unlocked anything.

i'm sorry but i was expecting something much better from you guys, taken the game back and got a refund.

This game is garbage. I was really looking forward to it. Next time don't rush the game, make a demo and make it good and nobody cares about a good story line in a NFS game!

C'mon EA, sort it out! It's being going downhill since Most Wanted, and the hill has now, surely, reached the bottom. EA has now landed in the ditch at the bottom. Are they going to stay there or are EA going to climb back up to the very top?

This game is a huge disappointment...

I like some of the game play, such as jumping to the nearest race, and the many different race modes...but it's all for nothing..

Because on PS3 at least, the frame rate slows down so much at times it simply ruins the game....rendering the game almost completely unplayable

I have owned and completed every NFS game since Porsche challenge, some on PC, some on PS/PS2, wii xbox 360 and now undercover on PS3...I think this will be the last one unless EA wake up smell the coffee and quickly release a patch which resolves the slowdown issues (if indeed that is even possible).

i agree w/ everyone else, and how about a 2-player game for ps3! and the AI has been way to easy! but then midnightclub is to hard, you should let us choose the difficulty, like in fifa! i hope there will be an update! to fix these problems or im finished with NFS... So dissapointing...

Please EA patch the problem, for me graphics are the big one, and then free roam finding races, and little things come after, i know you can do better, even pro street is better , and that was a disaster,

This game is quality yeah maybe the graphics need updating a bit but what else can you want from a nfs game apart from it needs specific drift races

but yeah overall at the moment id give this game a thumbs up and recommend buying it to anyone who likes tuning cars and street racing i.e me.

This game is absoluttely brilliant. its kinda like most wanted but better.
I cant see any where how it can be bad graphics. what can i say run it in HD. bravo guys, you did a good job. love the game play.

FORGET dis game midnight club l.a much better Midnight Club: Los Angeles - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia , Need for Speed: Undercover - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia look at the reception bit the reviews and evryfin r much better for L.A plus yu can do ur cars up much better and its a better racing experince dis nfs is meant 2 be way to easy and is too similar to most wanted so whts da point. GO GET MIDNIGHT CLUB L.A !! plus its cheapa and u get alot lot more for your muny

WOW, i didn't know that, andi have midnight club la, its good but to hard, and again no split screen... so im going to try NFS, and as long as they have an update, im sure it will be better.

Anyone having issue with the 360 version, keeps freezing the console.
Do not think I have actually played more than 5 min in the game before the freeze of frustrating doom takes hold and forces me to restart

Well, several years of waiting since the fantastic "Most wanted" and I suppose this is a second rate sequel.....

Not particularly smooth (constantly jumpy framerate on 360) and seems to be lacking a certain something, perhaps it seems hollow because there is no real drive to it (no pun intended) but just seems to be "press down arrow for next race" again and again with no real purpose. At least with most wanted there was a very clear outline showing your progress and how far along the chain you were.

I dont know, perhaps I havnt played this enough yet but it just seems such a dissapointment considering how good most wanted was and now several years later EA still hasnt seemed to have topped it. Is it really that difficult to keep to a winning format / formula and just update the cars / graphics and change the story abit (I like the undercover cop theme despite how scant it seems at the moment).

Perhaps EA has so many fingers in so many pies they dont need to make decent games anymore to keep profits up ?????

I would love to hear any news regarding the above issues although I fear it is already too late for this game (i.e. would a patch suffice ?)

I have the game on PS3. I find the game really good, but it could have done with a choice of difficulty settings. Also at high speeds sometimes it would slightly jolt for a sec but doesn't effect gameplay that much.

The driving is near realistic i find, Midnight Clubs style is not. I think the game could have had more storyline to it. Also i don't really like when you use nitrous and the other opponents keep up with you without using nitrous.

The graphics are good, nice work with the lighting effects. I think that effects such as rain etc and snow would be good and make it effect how the car performs in those conditions.

Other that that i think the game is really good. I find this game better than Midnight Club LA, at least in this game you get an option to restart a race.

But

I use the microsoft force feed back wheel.

1. I cant change the camera while driving. I like bonnet cam but if I am required to protect or crash into someone and the bonnet is damaged it a problem. I have to press start and scroll through the game menus to change the cam to bumper or something else.

2. There is no adjustment / fine tuning for the feel of the steering wheel.

3. Why cant I sell a certain car.

4. I cant get the instant reverse using the wheel.

5.I cant rotate the car in some menu's using the wheel.

6. Why doesnt it say 2 wheel drive or 4 wheel drive when buying a car. An Audi TT can be both as well as few of the other cars.

7. The frames some times jump around.

8. Unless it go to the garage I dont know how much money I have.

9. WHY CAN'T I TURN THE ACTION CAMERA OFF. I dont want to see action movie shots as I'm trying my hardest to finish a race/job !

i agree, NFS was never to challenging, but then midnightclub was to hard, so i want to choose a setting. and i have heard that the framerate is bad on ps3... i will find out soon, i ordered the game online...
