This was a massive disappointment. When I want to play a NFS I want it to feel awesome. Most Wanted did that and still does.This doesn't.What you have made is a shiny NFS Underground 2.
I know you cant do anything about the storyline but atleast release a patch(and I dont care if it's 2GB) to fix the graphical bugs and performance issues.

NFS undercover is craaaaaap,its like playing pinball.ur jus stuck on a track when racing, barriers automatically coming down just put me off da game completely.
Why cant you be more like midnight club LA?
1. its a far better game,
2. more of a challenge,
3. more realistic,
4. you have free roam in game and races,
5. better online play
6. car tuning is far better
7. you can buy peoples done up cars online /sell your own.

if you have not yet purchased NFS undercover. DON'T waste your time or money.

First of all... GOOD GAME and GREAT FUN!!

I don't know why everyone is complaining soooo much!?? Okay the game has some minor problems for example, the frame-rate is pretty bad in some parts but in all honesty after a while you don't even notice. An update could solve this in no-time. Another point to make is someone mentioned "terrible graphics", sorry guys but that is what I love the most, the graphics are amazing!! I have a Phillips 32" HD Ready LCD and I must say I was blown away by the graphics. PHOTO REALISTIC AT TIMES. One thing I was longing for was WEATHER!! Sadly there is no weather change in the game unlike older versions like Hot Pursuit. That could have made the game even more realistic. Also why doesn't EA try and use a 24hr cycle in the game. From Day to Night like in Farcry2- that with weather such as rain or snow would be awsome. I agree with some complaining about the cars not stating if it is a 4WD or a Rear Wheel Drive car but hey it aint much of a problem, neither is the lack of info concerning the cash that I have in the game whilst driving. I agree that I like the idea of being an undercover cop but I must admit that I was really dissapointed when I noticed I couldn't play split screen and I couldn't use any 'COP' features in the game online or offline, for example, I can't call in Road-blocks, Choppers or Spikes. Also even though the Car Designing Format (Garage) is much improved I still was dissapointed to see that I can't edit my alloy wheel colour or window colour as that should have stayed as it was or improved but certainly not removed.

All in all A very entertaining game and the Cop Radio is incredible as it really talks about your actual actions in the game and makes you feel like being in a really tense pursuit. BUT and I must say BUT I WISH EA WOULD FIX WHAT I HAVE STATED AND IMPROVE THE GAME IN THIS WAY.

I prefer those fixes / add-ons to the game over the 'Story' (movie) in NFS Undercover any day.

PLEASEEEE EA LISTEN TO ME AND OTHERS WE ARE YOUR CUSTOMERS AND WE PAY YOUR WAGES!!

Wow some real moaning in here. Why is everyone so keen for the game to be more like a sim? I have Forza for that I just want a silly arcade racer.
I hadn't thought about getting this game as I was so unimpressed with Pro Street, but I got it yesterday as a present and i'm quite glad. Handling is back to how I would prefer it, graphics look good imo I don't see what the fuss is about..

It is a bit easy though I think i'm almost completed now.

I'm LOVING the highway battles, they can be ever so frustrating at times but I do feel more at a challenge than most other races. I just wish there were more of them to do!

Few nit picking faults i've found:-

Not keen on the purchase with MS points thing, most things using MS points are overpriced and bringing real money into a kids game regardless of the faux currency just seems wrong and doesn't set a good precedent for future games. (I'm aware it's optional but where does it go next?)

The cars specs/physics don't seem to add up. I have an Audi TT and an Evo both tuned to the same upgrade levels. The Evo having the higher specs, so why does the TT handle so much better and is so much quicker? The Evo should kill it!

Why does my Viper handle better than my Evo?

I understand the need for the police to be a little unrealistic to enable them to catch players but it does seem ridiculous when i'm doing 200mph in my hyper car and a 4x4 patrol car shoots past and cuts me up! Keep the 4x4s out of it, I can forgive the other saloons

The upgrades are a bit weak just not enough options really.

Anyway overall, good game in my opinion, hopefully the devs don't do a 'Pro Street' on the next release :P

IMO, the game is good fun and very challenging as you get into it.

My only grudge is the poor frame rate (on PS3) - its the worst and most annoying frame rate I've ever seen on a PS3 title...

Have you tried changing views? I don't know if i'm imagining it on the 360 but I think the fps in the incar view seems better (it would make sense as it's not rendering the car and it's reflections) I prefer the bonnet view but it can be a pain when your bonnet flies up mid race!

Just bought my Veyron and I have noticed the races are getting a bit harder now, have had to restart a few recently :-D

I have enjoyed the game play , its good fun. much beter than pro street which i chucked in the bin.
problems with frame rate needs sorting, my pc plays Farcry2 , grid fallout3 all maxed out on ultra high but i still get some frame lag on this game.
Why can you not turn off the motion blur?
i play using an xbox gamepad on my pc , but i cant steer with the hat switch like i have all other nfs games because it keeps bring up the map while in the races, why can you not change this.

Set to [OFF or LOW] they do not contain motion blur.

Oh dear, that's like saying, "when your getting butt*rammed* after a while you get used to it."

But I agree on you point about the cop radio. That's really done well. I overheard some cops watching a bugatti or something in another area and they were saying how nice it was and they were discussing it. That made me smile.

i have the game on the ps3 , i've completed it and overall the game sucks...hell i reckon pro-street was better

the only thing that kept me goin in undercover was the cars...thinkin when i complete the game i'll buy the cars and tune them...now that i've completed the game i dont have enough money to buy the cars i want....i tried re-racing the races i've won already to earn extra cash....but it only gives me 200 instead of 30k etc....fix the problem EA...i expected to be rewarded after completing the game but i cant coz i dont have enough cash and i dont have the opportunity to earn the cash....im sick of having only 7 cars in my garage

if anyone else can help or knows any cheats...please help

My NFS Undercover experience

i baught this game 3 days ago for the playstation 3
and I completed the game ALREADY at 70% i think

First of its a great game but it could be better.
graphics is okey but can be much better.
Thers is almost no trafic, or no people on the street it look like a ghost time.
If you follow the story mode it give you sometimes the town for when it happens like 18.30 or something and its still like in the afternoon instead of evening.

I bought this game because i love drifting but there is no drift mode in this game what is really really lame. The best drift mode was in Need for speed Prosteet
The AI is really dumb. its like you played the game on very easy!
the story mode is good, i like to watch the movie or the hot chicks:P
some times there are some framedrops i hope that a patch comes out for it.
The tunning is like nothing prostreet tunning had much more.
more body kits etc. or make your own body kit.

EDIT: And i was playing only with a friend he was drving a corvette but i saw a Lotus Elise
so that can be fix to i hope in a patch
I love the NFS franchise efen pro street is a good one!!

My expectations for the next NFS game or patch for nfs undercover is.

Weather changing ( day, night, sunny, rain)
AI much better
A drift mode ( like prostreet thats the best mode ever )
PUT THE TUNNING FROM PROSTREET BACK in a nfs game
A co-up in story mode
Much longer Story mode with making choices in it.
More advanced story to tell more movie's to watch
More Online option. Like party mode or someting crusing the city with a friend.

that car should blow everything way but still lower tierd cars can give me problems.

I have to say I am throughly annoyed with EA. I've had undercover for about 20minutes now, and so far it's locked up every single time i've played it. I've managed to complete the first 2 races and now every time I try and load the 3rd it locks up. I've tried cleaning the disc, restarting the game and it's fully patched via xbox live.

What the hell is going on? If this is the best you can do, then you've just lost yourself a customer.

Wow. This game was such a dissapointment, i was expecting so much better.

First you have the frame rate issues, then you have the fact that the game is way too easy, and un-realistic (turning corners at 230+mph)

Im not saying the game should be really hard but a bit of a challenge would be nice, Playing the game online there is no skill needed people just constantly NOS and crash into each other, and dont brake atall, wich makes it unfair to anybody who likes to race correctly i.e brakes round corners.

And also the amount you can tune cars, very limited since pro street. Visual tuning is also very limited, so poor i just left my cars plain and boring.

I really think E.A has let themselfs down, i expected better...there is no way to redeem themselfs.....Or is there??
