The graphics are good, nice work with the lighting effects. I think that effects such as rain etc and snow would be good and make it effect how the car performs in those conditions.

Other that that i think the game is really good. I find this game better than Midnight Club LA, at least in this game you get an option to restart a race.

midnight club is to hard, and it is unrealistic, with the dumb special abilities and the driving on 2 wheels thing, its a good game, but if EA fixes there mistakes in an update then NFS will probably be better. The ratings were bad for the main reasons, bad frame rate, to easy, etc. simple things that can be fixed... thats why we have these forums, so EA can get our feedback, and make improvements...

Like EA told me theres nothing they can do to improve the game, maybes they should have made the game better before releasing the damm thing. Maybes they should recall this game and give everyone that bought it a refund, cos to me this game really does suck as no thought was put into this game what-so-ever. That will be my last game I buy from EA ..

I like this game! Actually I LOVE this game! I agree that fps gets real bad somtimes, but not so bad that its unplayable, all of you who get like 5 fps (on the pc) go into your damn options and change the AA so its not there, it helped me Alot!
Also, atleast I have a bug, which whenever I buy some wheels for any kind of car, and change any of the settings, the game freezes and crashes, Id like this fixed please!
Also I agree that its kind of easy, specially when you get the Level 1 cars.. You should have had the cars way more expensive and have the tune packages way more expensive too.. Im buying cars, painting/tuning them, taking screenie of them, selling them.. Just cause I got way too much money.. And I already have a fully tuned Bugatti.. But anyway, Im STILL having a great time driving around on the open roads with 9 police cars chasing me down at 350-400 km/h! It just never gets old

Have to agree with you on all the good points about the game, really like playing undercover, nice job EA, there are a couple of things that I think need to be patched or fixed. I am sure that if people keep posting any issue then it would help the process.

Oki to start with, its ****, basicly if not anyone of you working for EA dosent see it then you are working with the wrong kind of job.

I mean it took you like some series even to get some parts or even a scratch on the car!!. The engine was oki for the very old graphics, and belive me I was even one of them that thougt daamn this is so daamn cool, but not some years after because the games gets developed and it looks like you still wont quite do so... Even the graphics on my cellphone are better....Dont think my computer sucks and the graphics are because of my PC, because my computer specs are :

Memory: DDR2 4096 (2x2GB)
Graphiccard: 2 x NVIDIA® GeForce® 9800 GT 512MB SLI

When I play it looks like it lags and its impossibel, so the game has to be bad!.
I mean cmon guys have you seen Race Driver Grid? Its sets a new standard to the games and i would say that some other games did so before, but the engine in Grid is soo soo damn good, they have thougt on every small detail, even if you are sitting outside the car, you can see how the drivers changes gears!!

The thing you need to do is starting from sratch, I mean make a new engine because you wont get far with this engine....Make it feel real, and not making players wanna wear sunglasses when they play nfs, after all when did carbon look like glass?
You need to make the crashes look real, and not drive in 300km/h and nothing happens, that was in in the early 90:s...
You need to make the details far more good...everything needs to be changed....

completed game almost straight away , its way to easy not enough mods, graphics ok ,game does jump now and then open world/city means nothing in this game pointless drive around on your own testing your ride thats it

best thing i can say buy it complete it try it for yourself for all you fast car,tune,speed lovers out there then take it back get a refund thats what i did .

After Need for Speed Pro Street which was terrible I had no intentions of going out and paying £40+ for Undercover but guess what there is no playable demo on Xbox 360.
After reading some of the views I can understand why! Is this because they knew how bad it was, was this a rushed job so they could make as much money as possible for Christmas.
Yes there may be patches introduced to fix some of the issues but are Xbox going to charge for this too.

lol are you guys who like the game fags or what you payed money for a game what even though you like still needs fixing. its like me selling you a burger without the bap its nice but not finished and if you keep saying its ok and that you like the game EA will never change and never finish summat before it gets released lalala its noobs who have **** PCs not the real gamers who expected alot more for there money. well like so many others on here i do like this game have played a lot of the nfs series

ok now the bad points

1. to much like most wanted
2. story was to short
3. ai over takes when using nos with car tunned to acceleration makes me look like i'm standing still whats going on there ? an example of this was when driving bugatti and being out run by a porche ? not even in the same class
4. at some parts the lighting is so bad you can't see the track ? for the sun
5. no night time races
6. would have liked to see some drift races
7. no markers on mini map or on screen when driving around to find and start events
8. would have been nice if you could drive around and challenge other drivers to outrun races by flashing lights or using horn ect.
9. personaly i would have liked to see the highway battles a race for pinkslips that would have made them more fun with the risk of lossing your ride an added incentive
10. those yellow bolards that are ment to mark the route can be a little confusing as to which way to turn if your not looking at the mini map have crshed into them a few times trying to turn the wrong way

big improvement on that pile of cr*p pro street <-- what were you thinking ?

i also agree grid is more realistic to drive if a little buggy

haven't noticed the slow frame rate others have mentioned
but then i always install games on separate drive from os as i find that they tend to run smother with this setup

In my opinion, this game is really disapointing. First off, im a good driver when it comes to theese kind of games. But for some reason i cant beat the AI, ive tried now with several cars, different tunings, but it does not matter. their cars are faster so after a few days i downloaded a finished game just so i could drive around a little freely. What happens? i drive "normal" legal speed just as if i was driving in real life.

And of course the AI think its a good idea to hit the brakes like they where about to hit a f***ing deer and i bump into them, more or less just tapping their fender. And of course the cops are there with 10 cars in matter of seconds screaming "HES TRYING TO RUN" and so on. I stand still and wait for them to arrest me.

FIrst i get a ticket for 5k (***? for a bump?!) and then i get a marker on my car. This **** happens 3 times. Im now out of cash and i stand without a damn car. What am i suppose to do now?! steal a bicycle?

and why is there like 20 policecars around ALL THE TIME EVERYWHERE?!
I have done about 50% with my own profile, but if i feel like just driving around a little and not do any races, i cant cause as fast as a policecar see me they bust me. Why not do a damn free runoption like in the previous games so i can enjoy a policefree city? this game IMO is lalalala more or less. Why even have the "free" map if i cant get to a race without having to shake cops for at least 15 20 mins before. And thats if im lucky to be around that street after im done shaking the cops. Sure i can use the gps and transport there, But where is the charm in that?
I mean, is the EAcompany happy with their creation called Undercover?

do they play it themselfs before they release it? Why even have a option that you can drive around after you complete the game if you cant do anything exept run from the police, Or do as i did and drive normal and stop when the police wants and the narrest me for resisting arrest (again ***?!)

I spend like 30 mins making a nice Pontiac GTO, custommade almost ev erything. and when im goign to testdrive it, the ga me crash, and it leaves me with 200K short in cash for the 2 other cars i had to sell to afford this, but with no GTO or the cars i sold for 200k.

I think the game is not developed yet. Released to quick. It can be a good game if they adjust some things and for example add a freerun possibility where u can decide traffic and policedensity yourself. But as it is now its not a good game and i regret that i bought it.

Do EA stress out the games? i mean they release more or less every big game title nowadays since they buy out many of the other companys. Would be nice if they could develop and fully test a game that it works and please the crowd before they release it. They are not short on cash, that much i can tell. But as one of the biggest gamecompanys there is now, they should really make games that work.

So a tip to all drivinggamers that are thinking of buying this, Think it over again. Since they dont have a thumbs downsmiley (only a thumbs up)

The reason the police chase you as soon as they see you is probably cause the heat on the car is pretty high.. Paint it or something and they should leave you alone as long as you dont do anything illegal. I have a car with level 5 heat on and I cant go anywhere without having the police on my back, I think its great tho!

Things that i think are wrong with the game.

1. game play is way to fast. E.G should be like carbon
2. there is no night time racing. E.G should be like carbon
3. the stearing of the cars is way to fast E.G should be like cabon
4. game is to bright
5. glitchy at time's
6. the way you set the oline play up is cr*p. (it should be like carbon) E.G you should be able to pick the track and all the other setting that you could change on carbon.
7. the way u mod the cars is rubbish
8. you dont get to see where the race's are on the map
9. you dont get to see where any of the mod shops or the carlots are on the map

the only good thing on the game is the map!!!!!!

I was really looking forward to buying this game because I've always been an avid fan of the NFS series, but after all the negative reviews I've read, I'm not going to.
I thought after the failure of Pro Street things might have improved, but I was wrong. I don't know what went wrong with EA after Most Wanted and Carbon, but a message to you EA : try to make things better or dont bother your a**e, you've no doubt lost your ability to make a descent driving game.

i havnt played undercover yet but it looks like its much better then prostreet i only played it once and got board in 10 minutes the best one i think is nfs underground 2, i think they should re do underground 2 with better graphics and more cars and cops that would be awsome.

i think this game is the best one thats been released since underground 2, however, it still does not beat underground 2. i think the plot is great and i love doing the 'jobs', the plot is far better than any other need for speed up to date. however once again the customization sucks, i dont see where EA have gone from having the ultimate customization in underground 2, and then have barely any parts to choose from in the recent games. also im running on 3GB DDR2 memory, 512mb geforce 9800 and a AMD athlon 64 3500+ processor. my specs can run crysis on high graphics and is by far the most advanced game out at the moment, and even with all options turned as low as possible on Undercover, the world fails to load in the middle of races and the game must pause for brief seconds. the game is very difficult to play like this because as soon as the world loads, its by shock and i loose control of the car and crash 90% of the time. i hope EA gets on the job and creates a patch for this. overall i am satisfied with the game, but im 50/50 on whether the game engine is so great, please proof me wrong and bring out a patch which fixes the engine and makes the game load up correctly, thanks.
