I rely am excited about this, a whole game dedicated to online play, and ONLINE FREE ROOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAMM!!!!!!!

I rely do believe that EA has pulled it off this time, and i have such a strong feeling that World Online is going to make games like Forza 3 look like Tetris! (guess whos going to get flamed by Scarffo LOL)

Just think about it, a game like City of Heroes vs City of Villains, except the people will be replaced with cars!!!!!! I CANT WAIT FOR FALL 2010!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:yippee :

NFS World Online rely is going to be NFS HEAVEN!!!!

So NFS World Online is going to be co-developed by Black Box and EA's online studio in Asia! It will first be released in Asia, and if it gets a thumbs up there, IT WILL BE COMING TO THE WEST IN 2009!!!!!!!!!

Apart from what Goku said, World Online has terrible graphics in order to allow people with low spec computers to play it and it's an arcade game, thus no way comparable with Forza.

I really think you should stop making yourself look like such an igoramus.

I think they mentioned somewhere that world online will have graphics with variable ammounts of quality. meaning you can set it up to forza or underground 1 ammount of details.
I'm not certain though, i only read it somewhere.

I remember reading that it will have relatively bad graphics for low-end computers, but you may be right. It seems logical, to be fair.

They might even add graphics like NFS Shift for all we know, but still allow you the ability to turn it down to something like U2. Though in that dumb first screen video I saw from Lamboman, it reminded me a lot of U2. Should be an epic game.

All I'm really worried about is what happens if to many people play? Won't the city beome really really full?

Im not mad, and im well aware of wat i said, its just that im getting so tired of his negativity, for Scarffo, its either Forza 3 or NOTHING! You should read his blog. Not the pessimistic personality that writes that. he is not pessimistic, he just isn't in love with NFS like you.

Also that fist screen thing is dumb. you look at a Nissan for like 40 seconds and then some text comes up saying it being developed by BBox and EA.

The rewind thing is the best thing ever. It's there so that you don't race for 50 laps and then on the last lap make a mistake and have to start all over again. Yes in real life it's to bad, but it's not real life it's a game made to be enjoyable. Also I think on the harder levels you can't do it anymore.

I'm not pessimistic, not at all. I'm rather excited about DiRT 2 when I get it for Christmas, so your comment is instantly invalid.

What I dislike is EA's run of releasing sub-par games. When all they've been releasing is disappointment, you come to expect it, just as you've come to expect me to "flame" you. If EA started releasing good games, putting effort into the development and not just attempting to make a quick buck, I wouldn't expect their games to be terrible.

And about me flaming you: I've not yet flamed you. Calling someone an idiot, moron and whatever else I've called you isn't classed as flaming in my books.

I'm not negative at all. I've already explained why I expect NFS games to be terrible, and if (emphasis on the if) NFS World Online gets good reviews, then I'll be proven wrong. But thus far I'm expecting glitches galore for it.

You've clearly never played Forza 2, then. Spending forty-five minutes on a race, only to crash on the final corner is frustrating, I've done it. In them cases, the rewind button would have been a Godsend.

Plus, most hardcore racers on Forza 3 don't use the rewind feature, they just accept the concequences to their actions.

And I believe NFS SHIFT has a similar feature, albeit a simple reset feature, but is that not massively flawed with the teleportation hack? Exactly.

And for the record, I have a natural hatred for people with a lack of grammar above that of a ten-year-old, but I don't whine at you about that, do I now?

It's just that time of year again for the NFS forums. They are REALLY active 2 months before and after the game has been released then start to die down.

I don't know about heaven. There is too much that can go wrong, If they don't get the recipe perfect the game will be a total fail. They have to really think about how to increment some of the free roam details and how the missions or quests will work. How you meet your buddy's, the experience driving around.

A lot of detail to go into a game that has one year to be made.

Also if they don't find a way to get rid of wreckers, than the hole free roam thing will be a disaster. You'll be dodging crashers the whole time. They think it's hilariously funny to just floor it and ram into someone. Now that they can legally come from any direction it could ruin the whole thing.

That is why I am not as optimistic about it.
