NFS Shift is my new favorite game

I read a lot of people here complain about this game and I will agree it has many problems, but most of them are small enough compared to the whole game which in my opinion is very good.

I played many racing games in my life, you can look at my xfire profile and even that doesn't show everything I played and I can say that Need for Speed Shift is the best racing game I ever played.

I hope EA updates and fixes Shift small problems and even add more cars like Ferrari if they can that license.

Here are a few annoyances I can point out, this is for the PC version.

- When starting the game, I have to hit Enter 7 times before getting to the menu, it's really annoying and it's not like I can do it fast, I have to wait between each enter a few seconds, it takes more than a minute maybe to just get to the menu:

1. Selecting language > English > Enter
2. Skip intro > Enter
3. Press Enter at title screen > Enter
4. Select saved game. > Enter
5. Load complete message requires > Enter
6. Select online persona > Enter
7. Sign in successful requires > Enter

- After Lobby is locked you can't leave the online game even if you didn't get a chance to select the car you wanted because sometimes you join the lobby just before the race about to begin, this is really annoying because I end up leaving the race after it starts because I would lose anyway with the lalalala car I got as default.

- Cheaters are starting to plague the online games on the PC version at least, if this isn't dealt with online gameplay will be impossible.

- Changing resolutions to low after you played on high is impossible, the game will crash before it reaches the menu, you have to change it manually in the documents graphics files.

- It's a bit annoying that the Spec V GTR is the best 14 rating car, I mean even my 700+ Lambo LP560 can't beat it, I have to use the Spec V GTR like everyone else or you lose.

- Same is annoying with the Zonda R, nothing can beat it, nothing, Koenigsegg can't, Mclaren F1 can't, nothing, annoying.

All these annoyances are small and the game overall is good.

PeteRoys. ARE YOU MAD!!!! SMALL. Have you seen my thread on the bugs in the game. It's hilarious how many MAJOR bugs it has.

Yeah, again, the most fundamental one being that you cant keep the cars in a straight line or on the track for more than 2 seconds whilst all the AI cars fly past you round bends on rails .....

As I said before when something as major as the control system/game physics is THIS broken, it doesnt matter if it had photo-realistic everything else - this game is BROKEN !!

when you first get the game its great but it soon gets boring and very buggy so you end up stop playing it
