ok, well, for grip racing, suspension needs to be just rite, i suggest u make suspension like dis (I dont think this diagram will be completely to scale):

softness -----/--- stiffness

So it should be just a little bit out of da middle towards stiffness, so that u get just enough control in da corners, but that u also have quite solid suspension for straightline control and speed. Furthermore, u should also change the gear ratio, make it shorter

For drag, also change gear ratio, but make it longer, and den, just put top quality engine, drivetrain, nitrous, tires, and turbocharger/supercharger
