Default NBA Chat Thread

Hey, I have seen people do this threads on other forums and I thought to myself why shouldn't this forum have its own?

Anyways here you will be able to talk about anything relating to the NBA Live games or even the NBA itself. For example you could talk about these things:
  • How your favourite NBA team is doing
  • Trades and/or rumors in the NBA
  • Where you would like to see some players in the upcoming season
  • Any other things you might need help on or anything you want to discuss
I mainly just created this because I thought it would be better to talk about all these things on one thread instead of creating a new thread everytime you want to talk about something. Tell me what you guys think and enjoy

Yeah

The Raptors are looking pretty good. You've got a great frontcourt with Chris Bosh, Jermaine O'neal and Andrea Bargnani.

Yes, and finally Calderon gets to start the whole season! I think we are going to do pretty good this year.. I hope we get far into the playoffs

I haven't paid attention to the Bucks' moves but I heard you guys got Richard Jefferson right? Your team is also looking pretty good this year!

Yep! Richard Jefferson is in. We had to give up Yi Jianlian who I really liked, but hopefully Charlie Villanueva will be more consistant now that he is the main PF.

Charlie V definetely has the talent. Remember when he was playing for the Raps and scored 48 points against Milwaukee? I was at that game.

Yeah, Dwyane Wade looked good in the Olympics. I think he's due for a big season.

I think most of the players were solid. The one that is going to have another great season is LeBron James, he didn't win league MVP last year but i'm sure he will take it this year.. The Cavaliers also have another good chance at a title.

Yeah, now the Cavs have Mo Williams, too. He can take some of the scoring load off LeBron. And it gives them another outside shooter.

What on Earth do you have to do be ranked number one? The FIBA rankings have Argentina number one even though USA won gold in the Olympics.

I see the Heat signed Jamaal Magloire. I've always wondered why he doesn't get more playing time. He is one of the best rebounders I've ever seen. I remember that season he played in Milwaukee he would grab like 20 rebounds in some games!

So Oklahoma City's team is called 'Thunder'. I hate it. Has to be one the dumbest names in the history of sports I think.

I don't. New teams rarely do well, I think a slow start for them.

Call me evil, but I hope they fail. Seattle is such a great city and I have issues with Oklahoma. Personal issues.

We will indeed.

Any other teams you feel are looking strong for the up and coming season?

Miami Heat will look to get back into the playoff race. Also the Cleveland Cavaliers will try to go far once again since they've added more depth and their one of the favourites in the East with LeBron James leadint them.. What do you guys think?

Portland, New Orleans, Houston, LA Clippers. I think the Western Conference is in for another wild year! Tough blow for the Warriors, though. Losing Baron Davis to LA and now Monta Ellis to injury.
