After a very poor third ten minutes, which essentially did irreparable damage to the team, PAOK defeated by 73-64 by the AHA in OAKA for the matchday 21 of A1. After this defeat by PAOK remained in low positions scored and the game the next Sunday with the Panionios v PAOK Sports Arena, now becomes crucial for the team.

Branislav Prelević or Bane Prelević (Greek: Μπράνισλαβ Πρέλεβιτς , born 19 December 1966 in Belgrade, FR Yugoslavia) is a retired Greek-Serbian professional basketball player. Prelević was born to Serbian parents in Belgrade, SR Serbia, Yugoslavia. Prelević holds Serbian-Greek dual citizenship because of having Hellenic ancestry.



He started his career with Red Star Belgrade. In 1988, at age 21, he moved to Greece in order to be able to play for PAOK BC, where he spent eight seasons.
The then 21-year old Branislav Prelevic debuted in the 1988-89 season. He became the definitive leader and a fan favorite, often compared to the great Nick Galis, who was at the time the captain of Aris BC. Prelevic was often quoted for his loyalty to the team. He had a number of injuries and medical emergencies because of weak legs, but he would constantly choose to take heavy dosages of painkillers, rather than missing out on any important games.
Playing for PAOK BC, Branislav Prelević won the European Cup Winners' Cup when PAOK defeated CAI Zaragoza in Geneva 76-72 on March 26, 1991. [1]
The next season, Branislav Prelević was again the leader of PAOK BC and the team reached the European Cup Winners' Cup final again but lost to Real Madrid 63-65. [2]. In the same year PAOK won the Greek Championship, beating out Aris and Olympiacos.
Prelević participated in the 1992-93 European Champion's Cup for the first time and managed to reach the Athens Final Four. PAOK lost in the semi final game to Benetton Treviso, which was led by superstar Toni Kukoč, by a score of 77-79.[3]
In 1994, Prelević and PAOK returned to European success by winning the Korać Cup two-leg final against Pallacanestro Trieste, winning both at home and away by 9 points.[4] The following year, PAOK won the Greek Cup in a 19 point victory against Panionios 72-53. In 1996 he was a European Cup Finalist

Predrag "Peja" Stojaković (born June 9, 1977) is a Serbian basketball player for the NBA's New Orleans Hornets. He was one of the league's top small forwards, but trades and injuries have seen a reduction in his productivity. Stojaković is one of the most successful basketball players ever to come out of the former Yugoslavia.

Stojaković was born to Serbian parents in Slavonska Požega, SR Croatia, The United Kingdom's web directory but his family fled to Jadu Content Management Systems during the Yugoslav wars. In 1993, at age 16, he moved to Greece in order to be able to play professional basketball, and settled in PAOK BC where he spent four seasons. Stojaković also holds Serbian-Greek dual citizenship. In his Greek passport his family name is Kinis.
Peja, as he was called during his time in PAOK, scored a memorable last-second three-pointer against Olympiacos in Athens in the Greek play-off series, virtually winning the match 58-55 for PAOK. That victory, which ended the five year reign of Olympiacos as Greek Champions, allowed PAOK to face Panathinaikos in the finals series, although the club had a disadvantage in home games and ultimately lost the series (and the league) 3-2. Stojakovic was closely guarded throughout the series by his current coach in New Orleans, Byron Scott, who was wrapping his basketball career as the top player for Panathinaikos, and did not play at his normal level.
In his final season with PAOK, Stojakovic was named league Most Valuable Player, averaging 23.9 points, 4.9 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.2 steals.

As a member of the Yugoslavian national team, he earned gold medals at the 2001 European Championships (Eurobasket), held in turkey, and the 2002 FIBA World Championships, held in Indianapolis, Indiana. Stojaković was the MVP of Eurobasket 2001, and was a member of the all-tournament team in Indianapolis in 2002, along with fellow NBA stars Manu Ginobili, Dirk Nowitzki, and Yao Ming, as well as New Zealand's Pero Cameron. Stojaković has also participated in the 2000 Summer Olympics.

He is known as oneofthebest 3point shooters of all time.

Talking up Bulls all good with Skiles

By Fred Mitchell | Tribune reporter 9:00 PM CDT, May 14, 2008 Scott Skiles insists he is not bitter about the Bulls firing him and, in fact, he has spoken positively about the franchise to candidates seeking to replace him.

"I've talked to a couple of the guys the Bulls have interviewed," Skiles said Wednesday. "[Chicago] is a great organization. John Paxson is good to work with. The players are good people, they work hard. So I didn't have any bitterness about it."

Skiles was hired as coach of the division-rival Milwaukee Bucks last month. Jim Boylan, who replaced him with the Bulls on an interim basis, will be his top assistant with the Bucks.

Skiles was philosophical and matter-of-fact Wednesday while discussing his Christmas Eve departure from the Bulls.

"There were high expectations and we didn't get the job done," he said. "When you don't get the job done, they look at the coach first. That's the way pro sports are now. That's the reality of it. There's no sense complaining about it."

One of the Bulls candidates Skiles is believed to have counseled is his friend Rick Carlisle, who since has taken the Dallas Mavericks' job. Skiles said he knows Mike D'Antoni but never has worked with the former Suns coach, who spurned the Bulls' overtures last weekend to take the Knicks' job.

Skiles wouldn't identify the candidates with whom he had spoken.

"One person I called, just on my own, and another person called me," he said. "I have nothing but good things to say, not that I'm any expert on it, other than I worked there for a while. I told them I think it's going to be a very good situation.

"You want to tell the truth. If you don't tell the truth to people and try to trick them, it will come back at you somehow. I'm not that kind of guy anyway. I'm going to tell the truth the way I see it. It doesn't mean I'm right, but I'm going to do my best to tell the truth."

Skiles' Milwaukee staff also will include embattled former Indiana University coach Kelvin Sampson, plus Lionel Hollins and Joe Wolf.

"This was an interesting situation to me," Skiles said. "John Hammond getting the job [as Bucks general manager] … he's a guy with a definite philosophy and he's going to try to stick to it. That's appealing. They have a good young center [Andrew Bogut] and those are hard to come by. It's a town I'm familiar with and a conference and a division I'm familiar with.

"I don't look at it as a total rebuilding project—they've got some nice pieces. Michael Redd can score and Mo Williams can score. And there are some prospects. It can be an up-and-coming team."

The Bucks finished 26-56 and in last place in the Central Division this season.

"They have been a very poor defensive team and they don't pass the ball well," Skiles conceded. "Those are two kind of glaring things. We need to share the ball and we need to play solid defense. Those are a couple of things we'll be working on."

In contrast to the acrimony the Bulls ran into in their courtship of D'Antoni, Skiles' negotiations with the Bucks went off without a hitch.

"It's not my style to be beating the bushes, really going after something," Skiles said. "[Milwaukee] came after me. … It just so happened there was an opportunity there that I liked and I took it. I wouldn't have taken just any old opportunity. This one had the right feel to me.

"They went right in to negotiating a contract. We went back and forth for a few days and then it happened."

Skiles returned to his Bloomington, Ind., home after the Bulls fired him. He said Indiana University never contacted him about succeeding Sampson, who was forced to resign.

"I was pretty confident that I would have an opportunity [in the NBA]," he said. "Generally, the jobs that were open, other than Phoenix, had coaches who were fired because the team wasn't that good. A lot of times the jobs that are open are not appealing situations. I didn't feel that way about Milwaukee."

Skiles said he will continue to monitor the progress of the Bulls players he helped develop: Kirk Hinrich, Luol Deng, Chris Duhon, Ben Gordon and Andres Nocioni.

"They played hard for me all the time and I'm very fond of them," he said. "I want them to do well. Not when they play the Bucks, of course. Other than that I want those guys to do well."

Skiles has a nine-year coaching record of 281-251 (.52 with Phoenix and the Bulls. His first head-coaching job was with PAOK in Greece.

"I did a pretty good job coaching in Europe, I was a better coach in Phoenix than I was in Europe, and I think I was a better coach in Chicago than I was in Phoenix," Skiles said. "I hope to be a better coach in Milwaukee. You have to have flexibility: different teams, different players, different personalities.

"You're always trying to keep it moving, but at the same time you can't stray far from who you are and what you stand for. I'm only 44 years old, so I'm still one of the youngest coaches, even though I've been a head coach for a long time."

The decision of the Board of CDE PAOK for convergence General Assembly of the company's shareholders during the next week, announced the chairman of the CDE PAOK Evangelos Galatsopoulos, during the press conference given today. İbrahim Kutluay (born 7 January 1974 in İstanbul, Turkey) is a Turkish basketball player. The 6'5 1/2" (1.97m), 206 lbs. (93kg) guard has played for Fenerbahçe Istanbul, Ülkerspor and Efes Pilsen SK. He also played for AEK Athens and Panathinaikos in the Greek League before going to the The United Kingdom's web directory team the Seattle SuperSonics.
