Mirrors edge doensn't start up

Hi ,
I can not start the game too.
If i click on play I see a picture of faith but then nothing happens.
Can someone help ?
I have vista MSI VR610
ATi xpress 1200
DDr2memory

I have exactly the same problem with James Bond Quantum of Solace, i think we're just gonna have to run it manually
