Problem with saved/saving games.

How far do I have to get before I can save the game, quit the game and come back to it later. I've played right through to .... well, I don't know how far; the bit after Faith meets her sister.

Surely I don't have to sit there and complete a whole level (I'm not that good so it takes a while!) before I can save my progress?!!

Additional info....

I've just had a look in the "\EA Games\Mirror's Edge\TdGame\Config" direcotry and the 'TdEngine.ini' file. There are a few references to SAVE data, as follows:

"SavePath=..\TdGame\Save"
This path does not exist

"AutoSaveDir=..\TdGame\Content\Maps\Autosaves"
This path does not exist either

"AutoSave=True
AutoSaveTimeMinutes=10"

I have definately played it for more than ten minutes continuously!

"AutoSaveIndex=0"
I assume this would have incremented had it actually saved anything?

The game saves at each checkpoint. Which, on a first playthrough, should only be a few minutes apart each.

Then when you come back, just press continue on the main menu, above the new game option

I figured that should be the case. Unfortunately, it does not work like that on my copy.

I have tried installing it twice now; once with "My Documents" on a NAS and once with it on a local hard drive but neither seem to work correctly.

And yes, it is a legal copy; bought from Game for a tenner
