Default Tried the demo...

On Playstation 3.

It was kind of wierd for me... the demo is a tutorial level to get you used to the idea of "going with the flow"... but the flow isn't what I had expected it to be from what I saw in trailers.

A lot of the ground you have to cover isn't colored at all, and I find myself reaching a ledge and stopping my momentum, unsure of weather I'd gone the right way.

Is there a trick to knowing which way the flow is? I found the game appealing, but mostly because of this reason, I will probably not buy it if the answer is "no".

"The flow" is just a jargon term used in Parkour really. It's not something you really have to worry about when you're playing ME.

It's only certain objects that are coloured too. Those are your points of interest and it's up to you to figure out the quickest method of reaching there. That's pretty much what they mean by "flow".

I kind of got that part but yeah, I expected it to be a little less standing in one spot looking around for colored objects.

You shouldn't have to stand still like at all in the game apart from elevators. It's not hard to find your path without stopping, like a real traceur

How? If it's not hard to find the path, how is it not hard, because I just wasn't seeing it.

This is probably because the training level hasn't got a "route", so to speak. It's the only real sandbox map in the game. Once you get into the thick of the full game it becomes a lot more straightforward and similar to the trailers.

I see, well in that case I'll see if I can get my hands on a used copy somewhere.

Thanks for the input.
