mirrors edge error

i downloaded mirror's edge on steam and it crashes when it tries to load the level right after kate plz help i can hear the story cinematic playing but windows says that it encountered an error and needs to close

Bad download? Try and see if you can re-download it and re-install... I had a similar problem with the Sims, turns out it was a bad file during download.
