Mirrors Edge will not play, please help

I am running a nvidia quadro fx 1600m with 2G ram. I suppose i have the latest patch installed from EA.Nvidia drivers 1.4 mirrors edge patch 1.0.1.0 '
I also have Nvidia Performance drivers and Nvidia PhysX v8.10.17 installed
the physicsX is disabled because i dont think the video card that I have is compatible. The game boots but when I start the missions after the flash animation I see a brief graphic then I get a fatal error. Black screen followed by program shutdown. Please help me because this is the first game that I am trying to run on my new computer

I have no idea what is causing your game to run..

I got the newest drivers for my nvidia card. now the game works, I see the in game graphics, everything looks fine, smooth frame rate and all. On the training level I get through the first door and the game shuts down and I am at the desktop with no errors what gives?

Make sure you close all applications before running the game.
