Default PC Mirrors Edge Audio Issue.

I just installed Mirrors Edge on my computer and I can't hear any music or voices while in-game. I can hear the music at the main menu, and I can hear the dialogue during the cartoon cut scenes, but not while actually playing.

Well, that's not entirely accurate. I can hear the voices but the sounds of the street and the environment is so overpowering that I need to enable subtitles so I know what's going on. Also, no in-game music can be heard at all.

The only things I can hear are the ambient sounds, and they are crazy loud. I tried adjusting the sound settings but nothing worked.

Is there any way to fix this?

thanks

Update your sound drives is all I can suggest... Might have a better chance when I am sober..
