Hi everyone!
I just want to share some of my ideas, so please don't be mad if I say something stupid, it's just for fun. ^_^

Okay, so as I read through the pages I saw that 88.7 has been a brain-breaker. I really like the idea Gloss_Reality created, that 88.7 is a person who is after Faith. It would be a great storyline in my opinion, but I searched through a few sites, and they all said that 88.7 is a radio frequency. It's possible that it's the frequency the runners used to communicate with each other on, because in the game, there's a scribble on the wall which says " I <3 88.7 ". Who left that one? Another runner or the Janitor? I'm a little confused about this one... how would a janitor know all these informations? Mystery. o.O
Also, the Janitor. It has been confirmed that he has a disease. But I think ALL the notes have a meaning whether he left them the or not.

1, " RЁMBER, feed Scruffy! " ---> RЁMBER is a treatment for Alzheimer's disease. Meaning that he has Alzheimer's?

2, The drawing of the red doors broken. I think that he's angry because of all the red doors being kicked open. Maybe he wants to take revenge? Possible, because people who have Alzheimer's don't think straight most of the time. But I don't think that's going to happen, just an idea.

3, " Life is nether good nor evel, only PLACE for good AND EVIL. " Note that he wrote evel, not evil at first. I thought that it's a hint, because the second time he said EVIL. I googled evel but I only got Robert Craig "Evel" Knievel who was known for his motorcycle stunts in the 60's-80's. He jumped really high on his cycle so it may be in connection with the runners who also jump high? Okay, that was lame, I know. Also, he said nether, not neither. Wikipedia at nether:
Nether may refer to:

• Nether means: down, downwards, below, beneath, lower [1]
• Netherlands: a country in north-western Europe, inhabited by the Dutch. The Netherlands was once part of the Lower (or Nether) Countries. [2]
• Twisting Nether - chaotic realm in the Warcraft Universe.
• Nether Earth - one of the first few RTS games.

I can't really see where all this is heading to.

4, this pic Can the big rat represent runners here, too? Those who got caught? Or can it be someone we don't know yet? Or is it Mark? We know that he was tied down in that chair. Another mystery... o.O

5, " Conahan are you MY FREND " for frend, I got Charles Frend who was an English film director in the early 20th century. I don't think he has anything to do with all this. He was born in November, though. Another long-shot, I know. As for Conahan, I got Daniel Conahan, the american serial killer. He is currently spending his death sentence. I find this rather creepy than useful.

6, this one is pretty interesting to me. I think the blue people are the the protesters from the November riots. The black people hitting and killing them are obivously are the Riot Control Forces. And noticed the little red rat? Runners?

7," Are the trackers organizing? Is anyone? " I have no idea what this is supposed to mean.

8, " Any1 see L.? Leave Mark PLZ sorry gl " L? Someone said the name Leaf who I believe is another runner. Can this mean that we are getting to know him/her in ME2? Oh and at the second sentence. The Janitor is Mark's brother, right? And to tell the truth, this sounds childish to me like all his other notes.
" 54 West Arland C " Obviously, an adress. But is it somewhere where we can go in the game? I read it somewhere that in one of the chapters you get to go to West Arland, so I think it's possible that we can visit there and find a clue maybe? o.o

9, x Is that a ninja? And blood? It's kinda dark to see so I can't tell. =/

10, x It has been confirmed that it's Mark, but it seriously scares the sh--- out if me. T-T

11, x Some other person's blood? It could someone or something I'm missing...

12, " Where is November ??? " Possibly someone who survived from the November Riots and wants revenge? Maybe we get to see another " November " in ME2?

In my opinion, it's definitely for Mayor Callaghan. He was mentioned through the whole entire game, but never saw him, not even once. He just HAS to be in ME2. And since Jacknife spoiled that he was behind all this, I think it would be pretty logical. She's going to take revenge : " Before it was only personal, for what you had taken from me. " I think she meant Merc? I'm sure she loved him like a big brother and they were really close. It could be her parents too, but I think that happened too long ago? If she really wanted to, she would already have taken revenge on them.



3,I got your message, be careful, they're getting better, closer.
They're still looking, for me, for us, they don't give up.

The city, everything below, seems different, I feel watched.

" I feel watched. " Maybe PK's technology is getting better? Or the Project Icarus is still alive and those agent are following her? " an old friend, a risk. " The one popping into my mind is Celeste. She has betrayed the runners but not because she had problems with Faith or the others, she just wanted to have a life finally. So I'm thinking that she may have regretted what she has done to them ( she caused Merc's death in a way afterall ) and she wants to make things better. Faith still doesn't trust her fully, because she says " a risk. " (?) And " He doesn't have long. " I am thinking about Mayor Callaghan again. Maybe she found a clue leading to him? Maybe she is getting closer to the full thruth. And this last sentence just makes me have a feeling that there will be more pieces of this HUGE puzzle. I'm sure they won't be leaving us in this state till November.


And the corridoor is in the PK building, so could it be that she went to rescue Mark? Afterall, she saw all the notes we saw, she saw him tied to the chair, so maybe she just couldn't leave him like that? :O

88.7 is a very common frequencey. We know that, bur who's frequency couldit be? If it were the runners, their network could be hacked into WAY too easy, so could it possibly be for the CPF, or the convoys?
Mathematically, that says I (whatever that is) is less than (3x88.7). I'll add abit more on this later.
One of the theorys, which you may of already heard is that the Janitor is the member, or possibly the leader of an organisation of help for the runners, called November. Callaghan learned a little about November, and thought they were terrorists, and that led to the riots. If he were part of that organisation, he would have accsess to a lot of information that was passed to the runners.

I think that it is a reference to the November riots and the organisation that i mentioned. Everything went wrong in the protest march, and the police attacked the citizens, thinking that some of them were terrorists. The runners saw all of it, but they probably were not involved (ignoring Faith). Since then, November has disapeared into the shadows, so callaghan thinks that they were killed. And the City became ideal. Thats what i think anyway. The rat is a symbol used for runners.

November organisation for the runners, i think. The person who left the bag there needed help, but they had disapeared into the shadows. So they were probably killed. >.<

Celeste wasn't evil, nor was she heartless. Several times she tried to stop Faith doing what she was, and she apologeised about Kate, before she legged it. I think that she never intended for Faith and Merc to be hunted. I think she was planning to invite them both into PIcarus. She only wanted a life, and i kinda feel bad for her.

Maybe? She has no ties to Marc, she does not know mark. I don't see why she'd free him, since we don't know if he has any information Faith needs. He seems like an over-curious, bored worker.

Let me talk about the backstory from the comics.
Erika and Abraham conners have two daugters, Faith and Kate. Each parent has a favorite kid, faith is very close to her mum, and Abraham's favorite is Kate.
Abraham is a docter, and has an innate understanding of the body. But he feels so strongly about the way that the government is moving that he becomes a politician, leaving his practice.
Erika, i think, is either a stay-at-home mum, or she works from home. She took on work for a security firm because the family was falling into debt after Abraham left his work. Abraham was trying to stop what the city was becoming, but Erika was seceretly driving it forward.
Erika had an affair with some guy, i cant remember his name Abraham knew but didnt confront her. The Guy (i'll call him that til i remember his name) really loved her, and blamed Abraham for taking her on the march that killed her.
Faith was six when her mum was killed. She lived with her dad until she was sixteen, but they were obviously very distant, and she left.
Skiping all of the who's why's and when's, sometime after becoming a runner, i'll aproximate that she was training for six months, she was 21, or there abouts. She found the man that her mother had an affair with, and realised that he was planning to kill her dad. she wants to save her dad, saying that 'not much of a father is better than none'. In a raid, soon after meeting her father, and Guy bursting in, Guy gets shot.

I'll finish this post later, i'm outta time!

OkaY! Cut a long story short, guy died, faith hid her dad with merc and leaf, and we know that abraham survived but we are not told anything about where he is.

Idea Alert! Janitors have a lot of work, right? And they like to listen to a radio while doing their job, right? So, what if he accidentally turned his radio's frequency to 88.7 and he heard everything from the very beginning? It's even possible that he became a fan of them somehow. o.O
I don't think he is a member of anything. It just seems too unreal to me. ( We think ) He has Alzheimer's, how would he do that? It's a really bad disease, the person who has it sometimes doesn't even know who himself is.

Well, this guy wanted to quit his job because he was sick of all the changes and secrets (we know that from the message on his computer) so since Faith lost Merc she has no tracker or any kind of help on this mission, but Mark has been working there for a long (?) time and he can give her LOTS of informations. Right now she needs all the help she can get.

I know someone with Alzheimer's and they tend to forget a lot but he wouldn't think of something like that. Maybe his (the janitor's) disease is more serious? I KNOW WHO THE JANITOR IS....

Sorry I just wanted to do that. But the idea of New November being the riots again is pretty cool. And I think Mark is connected to Faith. It could be her father or someone else she knew like when she talked about knowing Jackknife and Mark is a fake name so few people would know who he was.

Janitors aren't suspected as much as, say, a shady business man. They can listen to conversations in the edge of the room and not be suspected, as who are they going to blab to? Add a low IQ to the mix and an illness, you've got a very unlikely person to get you into s**t loads of trouble.
I think that he's faking the illness, which would explain how he doesn't seem to to have memory loss. His childlike drawings and spelling misteaks hide the fact that he is leaving messages and coded information to be read and understood by runners and trackers. His misteaks and drawings give the impression of illness and low IQ.

All I have in my mind that 88.7 could refer to is dates, places (as in it's a coordinate) and our frequency.
It's even possible that we're over-thinking and the answer is something simple.

One in the Shard's elevator and one some where else. But I think we are all talking about how it says,"I (picture of a heart) 88.7" Because I'm getting really confused over the argument weather it's I "heart" 88.7 or I <3 88.7.

Theory 1: Have any of you noticed that the corridor when you put the images in chronological order gets clearer, could this mean that the city will soon change from a safe, secure city, to a darker, but more enjoyable city via New November?

Theory 2: The differences in the images could be symboism, the first one could represent Mirrors Edge 1, where Faith is never seen, and there is always hidden violence (The Gun). The second could represent Mirrors Edge 2, where Faith is starting to become known to the public and might be picking up supporters, could strike a New November. The third picture could also be about Mirrors Edge 3, because the corridor isn't as bright, and Faith is no longer there, this could mean the city gets a transition back to normalilty and they kill off Faith


Also, maybe you guys are reading too much into the Janitor thing, it could simply be a Flowers for Algernon referance.

It could. I see your mentality on this. But i think it more as stages. The progression of faith's story. I've already tried to 'guess' the names of the next images (as i'm sure that there'll be more) using the mentalitly of story-writing. Why dont we try and guess the images too? It'll give us something to do until the next image is out. Also, the runners leave no trace of their existance, maybe that is what the gun means - that in most people's eyes, they don't exist.

That would be my idea of how a story would progress, with the titles that we already know. As i said, I like this idea of yours until a point...

They better not. As a character, i find Faith interesting. She is not one-sided, IMO, but they have explored one side more that the others. In the next game, I hope that they show her a bit more... how to put this... less business-like? I don't know how to describe it exactly, but when (SPOILER)
Merc died, she had a lot of compassion and emotion that could be seen in the animation, and portrayed by the voice actress - i hope that we see more emotion from her, more compassion, shock, fear, heck, even anger and selfishness - she's only human after all. DICE/EA have the potential to develop her personality a LOT more though.

Prehaps . I think (my opinion) that the janitor is one of the two known links between the game world and us. The strange comments in the game hooking us in and PK adding a little more info. I don't know much about FfA, but could you add a bit of a synopsis?
