Mouse is spinning!

When I play the game... my mouse is spinning round and round...
it's impossible to play the game... really!

I'm playing it on XP... I don't know if this matters?

I tried to install and patch it again several times... but with no succes...

i'm really fed up with trying to get the damn mouse right... I've googled it several times but haven't found similar cases...

please does someone knows what could be the problem??

Do you have any game controllers plugged into your PC?

Nope... I've tried it... but the game is still spinning....

Well!! I've found it!

When you said if there are controllers plugged in i thought there weren't but then I saw my Guitar Hero guitar plugged in... at the moment it didn't seem like it was causing the trouble... but i unplugged it and voila I could play fine!

i lol'd a little here...and i was gonna suggest trying to unplug and replug the mouse to see if that worked
