problem contacting the liscense server

i got this game today, piad 50 bucks for it and now it wont work, every time i try to run i get this error,

the game can not start
there seems to be a problem contacting the license server. ensure your internet coneection is active adn try again in a few minutes.

ive have tryed many things like disabling my firewalls, ive registered the game on the ea download manager and im running out of ideas, im sorry if there is allready a post about this but im getting mad that EA would ship a broken game if any one has a solution this problem please reply, thx!
