Does anyone know about the website called Newstream Energy? Apparently its the power company for the city itself.
Link: newstreamenergy A little bit of easter eggs found in the game too. 1. The P&K SecuMail Server ID version 1.9.84 shown on the red PC's screen with the job resignation email is a reference to George Orwell's 1984. 2. The name, Milton, scribbled on a note is most probably a reference to the 'squirrely looking guy' in Office Space. 3. Another reference to Office Space, the legendary red Swingline stapler is found on desks. 4. The "Vegade 5-day-in-a-can drink" advertising found all over the city is most likely a reference to Soylent Green. |

I think the Milton references are also to the English poet John Milton, who wrote Paradise Lost. All those references to 'New Eden', 'Eden Estate' etc seem to point to him. Also, is Callaghan 'Dirty Harry', from the film? I thought I heard another candidate called Doyle mentioned before Pope gets killed - would he be related to Popeye Doyle from The French Connection? Both of these are cops who use intimidation and violence to 'clean up the city' by any means (finis coronat opus). Brilliant, magical game.
