Mirror's Edge BSOD

I'm getting a BSOD half way through the 1st level its called a "Bad pool header" it seems to be a problem with either my hardware or software. I run all my other games fine, and it seems to be just this one at a particular point. I have all the newest drivers and its patched, and I'm wondering is there a fix for this or if anyone else is experiencing it.

My specs:
Windows Xp sp3 32bit
9800GT 181.22 drivers
Amd Athlon 64x2 4800+
2gb DDR2 800mhz
Xtreme Sound pci 5.1

Ive got the same damn Problem.

Looks like bad programming from DICE

i have the same problem. it's right after i have the people with guns chasing after me. i jump from the one building to the next and get to the fence and jump up to climb over it, and bsod. i've watched videos, and it's right before the helicopter shows up. the helicopter's never showed up.
i have a conroe e6600 asrock conroe-945g-dvi motherboard 2g ddr2 667 ram kingston value, and 4870 512mb video card.
i just got a new video card, and i thought it would play.
i had an x1950 pro 256mb pcie video card, and it would run hot, and it blue screened at the same place.
bsod 1 mission

Hi, i am also getting it but it is just before you get out of the van on the dock level. i have also had tons of bsods through the other levels but i seems to not want to leave on this level.

really annoying!!!

Hello all,
I have the same problem

The game is so cool

but when I have to kick / pass through the 1st guard on the 1st level my PC crashes

I have the patch and everything is fine...I turned off the pshyx but it still gives me this

Im really sad...
I played some from the online levels...first and the second without problem...
Also the fps is everytime 60!
My pc is running win xp with 4gb ram , asus 8800gtx with the latest drivers and I still have this BSOD

One time I decided to go from the other side and the game didnt crash ,for a little ;(/
Then The guards saw me and ....I left the game because I didnt have time..
Now when I try to pass through them my game gives me BSOD

Reinstall your SOUND drivers!!!

Play it with physx turned off, with it on it's buggy.

I've been playing it on windows 7 rc seems to play pretty much the same as it does on vista.

The game isn't designed for Windows 7. If you are having problems playing it on W7 then tough... The only way you'll be playing it is if you down-grade.
