I'd agree, but the Anti-Narutard Patrol says we are not ment to talk about it. ^_^

Still; Mirrior's Edge is awesome. I really hope they make a second one, longer.

Yeah; That's an awesome idea. I love it. I'd like to be scared ****less as I jump over a large gap 20 stories up and am forced to trow a kunai with a chain on it and grapple. ^_^

Next you'll be disarming them with Rasengan! XD

The game is brillaint and its what i expected..but...i guess if they had to change one thing, they could like have pastimes and you have to travel to missions and such, but i am happy with what its like now

Sounds like a lot of people on here are hard-core gamers who know what they like/want or what a given game should be like, and then are disappointed when it does not meet their expectations.

That's all very well and I agree with a lot of the points made about it being linear and not enough 'free roam'.

However, I think you have to also remember that there are people, like myself, out there who aren't that into it and just play the game because they like the look/idea of it.

I had wanted to play this game for ages simply because it was very different to anything I had ever played before; my usual thing being the NFS series and Half-Life2/CS:S.

I only decided to buy it when I had finally afforded to upgrade my main PC, and found it for a tenner in Game here in the UK; which helped

I had no pre-conceptions and didn't know about Parkour, or whatever it's called. (I'm only just finding videos on it on YT! Looks quite dangeous IRL!)

I played it on 'Normal' then I played it on 'Hard'. Now I'm playing it on 'Easy' and trying to locate all the bags; with the internet's help of course . Sometimes I just replay a level for the hell of it.

My point is that for the casual gamer, I think this is a fantastic game and cannot wait for ME2.

Yeah I understand. Being into FPS and things I found the Mirrors Edge was different. I have no reason why I bought it. I was just in GAME with my mate and I saw it and read the back and thought it would be cool to try something different. I like the whole linear thing. I am bad when it comes the Free-roamers becuase I end up just exploring and not actually completeing the game.

lol. I know what you mean. I would say I'm kind of a Mirrors Edge fanboy and I understand what you mean about it being diffrent. That is also what attracted me to it. I saw a few screenshots of it first and that got me intersted enough to look it up. I get board of Generic FPS 5 and Mirrors Edge was a great play and I'm glad I got it. But it was TOO DAMN SHORT! XD

PLEASE, Dice, DON'T make ME2 a sandbox game. ME works great the way it is. In an open world why not just use the elevators and walk around the fences. I think it will be difficult to design it as a sandbox game and still have it challenging AND close all "loopholes" or circumvention of challenges. I really don't understand why people want sandbox games anyway? ME is the best game I have played in years the way it is, don't make ME2 too different please.

Look what happened to Burnout when they made it a sandbox game. It made a great game suddenly very boring. Besides it is not really fully open world, you still have to figure out what you are meant to do. I don't get why some ask for this at all.

There is a big diffrent bewteen Burtout and Mirroirs Edge, dude. And I don't see why it would ruin it. I think it would allow players to take the game as they want it, doing missions their way and chosing thei on pathes.

sandbox on mirror's edge would make it so boring. the city would be so bland and annoying to get around.

seriously, the game is fine how it is. the only things it needs is multiplayer, a map editor, and a longer story.
don't ruin the game with all the other features people ask for like 3rd person and freeroam

Oh, I agree with no 3rd person, but I just think that freeroam would be good, for the reasons which I have already givin. And, TBH, I've still to see a good answer as to why freeroam would ruin it.

Do you have one?

I'm not against freeroam but I've never completed a freeromer game EVER even though I've played loads.

True, I honestly think it would allow players to complete missions how they want.
