Truth, but i'd upgrade that graphics card at least. I'd say if you can run other stuff like dead space at a decent enough rate you should be able to do mirrors edge.

Display Card!: NVIDIA GeForce 6800 256MB / ATI Radeon X1600 Pro 256MB Memory: 1024MB Free Disk Space: 7GB Operating System: Windows XP / Vista Thats the dead space minimum spec, look famillar? EA use a generic low-recommended scale. You will probably end up running mirrors edge on the same, due to the pace of the game it might lag and struggle to keep up. As I said, you might want to look into a new graphics card.

but the thing in dead space's case was that the graphics requires 6800gt 256mb but the 7300gt 256mb was explicitly below the minimum graphics requirements but its running on my 7300gt 512mb graphics card & on the other hand, mirror's edge requires 6800gt graphics card with with no condition showing that 7300gt is not supported,etc.... & also on yougamers.com in Mirror's Edge section, when i clicked on its java application to see that the game will gonna run or not, its shows that my system in jus a pinch higher than its minimum requirements. so, now as all the things are clear, what will do u suggest??
Thanx |

Its not as clear cut as model numbers of graphics cards being higher than ones listed on the minimum spec. Also the specifications put out are generic ones which EA use on practically every PC game. People can only GUESS it will. yougamers have no idea how mirrors edge is going to perform and therefore they are assuming your card will work. Granted it probably will but you would be pushing low at best. My suggestion for a new graphics card still stands, if you want my reccomendation on a new card then i'd check your PC to make sure what type of graphics slot it has. Make sure that that 7300 you have isn't AGP and it is PCI-E. If its PCI-E then i recommend a 9600gt since you are probably using lower resolutions.

guneetsinghjass - the answer is simple. No, Mirror's Edge will not run on your PC.
You need to upgrade everything on your list, and buy a gamepad. If you are seriously thinking about getting a new PC to play it, then you should just get a 360. Honestly. It will be five times cheaper, you don't have to worry about game settings or minimum specs, and racking up points on your Gamerscore is a lot of fun. |
