When the Sims 2 was first announced back when I still had trouble growing a moustache and my voice wavered tentatively between alto and baritone. I was very excited about the change, it was so revolutionary.
Let's see why:
1. Complete 3D graphics. Which frankly, still look superb all these years later.
2. DNA, life stages, old age, death. Life stages, transition from one age to another.
3. Aspirations, fear, career opportunities, wants. Personality...

I've been reading a lot lately of the death of PC Gaming, the dirty assassin Piracy has crept up behind the king and stabbed him in the painful bits.
Honestly, it's complete rubbish. The problem is that the retail stores are seeing their PC Games sales drop because people are using services like EA Link or Steam to download their games. These sales figures are not included in the Retail figures so the statistics are skewed. Making the PC market look about as strong as the Sega Dreamcast...

I think the sims will be released on April 11th 2009
I have no evidence to back it up, I may have read something that led me to believe it, I may have checked my horoscope and believe that Is Laurus or Trabdo is in the ascendent or some such trollop signifies that said date is the correct one.
Do you know how much it matters? Not one bit and I find the whole thing all rather tiresome. The game will be released when the production cycle is over and the game has gone Gold,...

I have come to the conclusion that the average sims fan is a girl of between 14-17 years of age. They play lots of families and don't like ugly sims. They would never play online because they're far too protective and like complete control over the events in the neighbour hood and they don't want any more violence or sex in future sim installments.
All of this added together means I will never see my optimum sims game, because I'm pretty much the opposite. That said, I'll probably enjoy...

I was perusing the sims earlier and life in general. I don't know why, it just seems that doing something a bit philosophical would give my blog an air of importance that philosophy does tend to lend to things that are as banal as blogs are.
Now I've decided I can't even be bothered to say anything, because none of you are even going to read it. So this is me, signing out, off on another mission over Italy.
