...for my work five a sides to start again next wednesday... first few games I'll be unfit but hopefully will have my shooting boots on! 47 last season... I was averaging a hattrick per game up to the last few games of the season, but the ratio still ended up over 2 goals per game... record 7 goals in one outing.

What a game it was! I celebrated the night away and woke up this morning with one beamer of a smile!

Great game, full of incident! United definitely had the first half, and Chelsea were very lucky to equalise on half time, where we should have gone in 3-0 up. Chelsea no doubt had the second half, and also probably could have scored 3 too!

Extra time both sides had one blinding chance, Lampard hitting the bar and Giggs' shot cleared by a JT header with the keeper nowhere!...

The waiting for this match is a nightmare, I've played on Fifa a bit as Crystal Palace & Plymouth in two respective online leagues, didn't lose, which is the main thing....

Now can't decide whether to play more or just continue watching MTV2 and randomly posting on this board, do you ever get one of those days when you seemingly have no motivation?

I'm still finding it surreal that the game is tonight, and that this fixture even exists... It still doesn't quite seem real to me that Man Utd and Chelsea will play off to win Europe's biggest prize. I'm not going to predict a result, because it's going to be a close game, but I'm just hoping that SAF will field the strongest possible team... if I were to pick the team, I'd have:

The first match I ever went to see was Crystal Palace - Man Utd at Selhurst Park in 1989, when I was 6, the score finished 1-1 and I fell asleep halfway through the second half!!
