A valid reason is what you had.... but its true i don't want people in the team that give up when things don't go right or don't like some of the new players.... I never said that was you.

right guys, lets show respect for the thread, lets no taint it, i was just standing up for a friend, would do the same for any 1 of yas, he had no right to bring him up, and i thought he was a nice kid tbh, just shows his immaturity. anywhooo, i should have cod tomorro, the post man is getting the biggest hug in teh world

I know mate... but people have to start somewhere in clubs don't they... i remember when you joined, you were not flying yourself and made mistakes... but you were supported and the more experienced players stuck by you and helped you along.... then you came into your own and you were immense.

I just think some of the stuff you said when you resigned, you left a negative impression on the new guys... and Van would you have stuck with the Allstars had people slated you or not said you were not good enough when you first joined... I don't think you would of tbh matey.

No player is bigger than any club and everyone startes somewhere... Van bastern is now a fantastic player... but once mate you could not play for Toffee in a team.... non of us could, but we learnt as a team

Not saying you matey, but this is where the old allstars let themselves down abit... instead of a team that they once were, they started only looking out for themselves and tbh.... you have made some good points, yey without the likes of you then we would not be the team we are now... however the Allstars and me made you into the player you are now... you did not do it on your own and you have stll alot to learn, like we all have

Our team was always about sticking together through the rough and smooth... we never gave in and we always encouraged... all i ever asked for was committment and to play the way I wanted the team to play.... real players don't walk away when the chips are down... thats my opinion, it would be all to easy for me to go and play for another established team and know I could have a decent pick... but i wont do it because i have given to much time to this team and class it as the better place to be.... this is the team i want to play for and there is no other team like it.

That message got lost when people started thinking more about themselves and building little clicks and empires in the team or thinking they are better than others and to good to play with lesser players.. if that was true dude I would personally of never played with any of you lot, because my back ground was very high in gaming... So if i can do it, then i think others should be able to do it aswell.

There is only one thing that matters in the Allstars... the team, nothing else.

matt. none of us would be the players we are now if this place hadn't been here. i wouldn't have met you guys for starters. i still want to better myself and my wee team, mym united.

now we're not the best team but we all enjoy each other's company and have a laugh and joke. it will come together for us

I was manager of the Allstars for a while and I have to say the group I managed then was very professional....(and I will defend them).

1.all 10 of us turned up on time for meetups all the time.
2. we had a bond and unity in the team and we encouraged each other on the pitch.
3.there was a fantastic balance to the team when we played - goals came from everywhere, players expressed themselves on the pitch.....that's how I like football to be played - PURE SEXY STUFF (it's only a game after all, let's put it in perspective shall we)
4.I heard the word "one dimensional" a few times - we played 433 and played that formation to perfection, we attacked through the middle but our strengths was wing play, I used to enjoy watching my wingers skin people "messi style".
5.the team that I managed hold's the record for longest undefeated streak.
6. we were on a roll that guys were queing up to join and I brought someone back to the team and that upset the rythmn, balance and atmosphere of the squad (my mistake).

so to the guys here now should take what I've said to motivate yourself's, and aim to make MYM better than ever.......good luck and all the best!!!!!

anyway I getting the new COD edition xbox360, 250gig console today (yeah I'll be queing early....lol, I paid for it anyway) -I'll be back online weds

cheers matey i think for the 1st few games defense was on fire but have to admit once i took any i confused myself
