Good luck and you have been an ambassador for the club... sorry to see you go and how you feel, however i think making a decision based on a couple of weeks of low activity is abit rash.... however hope you continue to play clubs for someone as you are a valuable player to anyone.

F.A.O Danny... dude you know the rules, this is a team only thread, your presence is starting to rack me off a little because your making what appears to me idle threats and digs, and tbh I don't want it. your not in the team anymore mate, your quite welcome to come back if you want, but if you have not interest then speak elsewhere...

These old times you talk of never existed mate tbh ( the only old times were pointless wins over average random opposition and then getting owned by proper teams), so please stop harping on about it because some of those players in that team were not that good and brought trouble to our shores with their attitudes..

The teams winning mentality and sold base were put in place before you even got near the it.. I am not having a dig mate, so don't take it that way... just sick of hearing you bring it up... if you thought that was a quality team then I hate to see what you thought was a bad team.... because at best we had only potential at that time

I will be having a team meet up tommorow night at 7:30pm for whoever is left of the allstars first ten... I don't want anyone else showing up unless I ask for some assistence... if you can't make it then let me know, unlike last week when some of you could not be bothered to tell me.

Tbh we have not lost a good team imo, we still have one.. I think the team is potentially better..... just takes abit of time... and tbh a good team is not good enough for the Allstars, I want a great one and tbh we did not have the players before that could give us that.... not because of their ability, just because of bad attitudes.

The creases will be ironed out dude.... the fun went out of the team for me dude, when people started not taking is seriousely or holding their positions..... but i am not giving up or taking my ball home... I will carry on because i have the faith in the the team and i expect the same for everyone who wants to play for the team.

Put it this way... if the players in the team don't perform, then they get replaced, however from reading what went on last night, it appears that they are getting it together

I am sure you will get an offer and i can only presume who you will end up playing with... best of luck, you will need it.

not sure if its just me from the newbies but all this 'we were great' the 'fun has gone' makes me kinda like im in the way or not welcome.

all im hearing is the old times where great and we were are great team yet now its the fun has gone blah blah blah,

Players come and go and it will always be the same....

Some great guys have left and some great players aswell.

But we have a new era upon us... but from now on I am not taking back players who leave because they are upset or unhappy with stuff... because time and time again as proven.... they end up wanting to come back as they actually have not found a better team.

Unfortunately from now on... once you go.. you go, its not fair on other people.

Mate i agree... I don't see any problems tbh and at the end of the day i am sick of the moaning.... its always the same tbh.

There is nothing wrong and I am really happy with the new guys... I have not been happy with some of the meet ups... but tbh its was not just the new players that were not performing sometimes, it was also the more senior players.

You are perfectly welcome in this team and the only people you need to impress are the managers, if some players don't like the fact that they now have competition, well thats their problem, not yours

oh and trust me these old times you hear of... the team was sub standard and could only play one dimensional footy, also players were played out of position and there was alot of lying and backstabbing..... so they were not great times mate at all.... that team became a laughing stock tbh and I for one am glad those players have gone.

Only conway/van/danzo/zundrak/weezie have earnt any credit from having to put up with playing with that rabble back then.... we lost a few players back then aswell who said the same thing.

It's always hard coming into a new set up, I know meself it took till last night for people to see what I can do on the wing.....but as I said in a earlier post u were a monster at the back along with Andy.......would go as far to say one of the best Centre Backs I have played with and I've played with a few over the last couple years....

Well said, and as you know and are aware of the experience you have had with other clubs................ The Allstars have alot of work to do before we can say we are up there with the best of them, unfortunately we have had players in the past that thought way to much of themselves and the team before they had even proven anything, and that has cost us some time.

The Allstars are yet to have great times, we have had some fun times, but that is not the same thing.

I remember when i first joined, i played my best footy at Rb for 5 games, i still play well atm and have based my pro there now, and i hope to become a key player here, i enjoy everyones company when i play as i like to take it serious but have a laugh whilst im at it.

But when i see that the Managers dont feel the team is playing well and that its some of the Newbies + the seniors, i can't help but thiunk i may be apart of the problem - Just a self preserveration i have naturally.

if we had flanch up-front with sam yesterday i would have thought we would have just about got a decent result off every game we played.

our defence was coming together, but i did get in the way a few times - cheers oggster for covering me when i scored , you showed your class, definatly, i like to play 1-2s with the RM of our team, usually Zundrak and a few others.

Overall i think with a bit more commitment we will have one of the strongest teams around soon

I can't play those two at cb though can i

I already have Phil and Andy..... hell no if you think you are taking players from me for the second team

I suppose could play nil at cb, andy and gingee at sideback.

Groovy can go up front as cover then.

Also prefer not for the second team to have an official meet up aswell... confuses things.... or at least let us start up and then get together afterwards.

Can we please list who you think are in the second team... I have this strange feeling that a few of my players have been pulled, which is not happening

Its not the new players fault really.... ok some of the stuff i have seen is abit basic in areas, but it will come on.

To me over the last month I have got fed up with people being negative, not focusing, filling the team with dread and not making new players welcome.... the amount of times i have heard non managers moaning at new players or grumbling when a chance has been missed is just plain daft, when it was the senior players who pretty much have caused alot of the problems by feeling their place is safe in the team and doing pretty much whatever they wanted and not stuck to the tasks i gave to them...

Tbh I am quite looking forward to moulding a new team... hopefully this one will know how to play to their postions and be able to achieve something most of the older players could not grasp, play simple footy.

This is no disrespect to the old crew, because they are a great bunch of guys and good players.... but other than the odd few of them... we put alot of new players off due to the attitudes of some and the need to argue all the time.... and instead of realising it was their attitudes that cost us, they tried to blame me and others, however it does not matter what team they are playing under, the same problems always occur, they argue and only play as a team when things are going right for them.

Hopefully that has changed now, because in all honesty the newer players seem alot more mature.
