CODE OF CONDUCT

A code of conduct exists so that everyone is aware of and follows the rules of the team and knows where we all stand. Every organised team has one and our teams should be no different. We must all work together and help each other but when conflict arises, the Code of Conduct must be adhered to.

As official teams to EA, we have a responsibility to them and to ourselves to conduct our teams in an appropriate manner, in the spirit of Fair Play.

EA look out for us, so let’s represent them well and do them proud – on and off the pitch.
All Team Managers, Assistant Managers and Players will:

1. Be committed to the team, adopt the spirit of Fair Play and adopt good sporting behaviour – on and off the pitch

2. Make the effort to turn up to team meetings on time – give reasonable notice if you cannot

3. Respect each other, respect fellow forum members and our opponents

4. We will not send baiting, hateful, vulgar, racist comments to each other, fellow forum members or our opponents

5. Support each other through good and bad days – don’t rip into someone if they’re having a bad game, it happens to us all!

6. When conflict arises, quickly defuse the situation and don’t spill it onto the forums as it gives the team a bad name. Raise any issues you have with the Team Manager or Assistant Manager in a respectful manner

In the event of conflict arising or code of conduct not being followed, the following penalties may be given at the discretion of the Team Manager.

1. Verbal Warning – the Team Manager may invite anyone who isn’t respecting the Code of Conduct to a Private Chat before, during or after Team Meetings at any time and give a verbal warning.

2. Suspension from the Team – If the Code of Conduct is still not being adhered to, then a suspension from the team may be necessary.

3. Instant Ban from Team – This will only be given in exceptional circumstances.

These rules are subject to be changed or amended at anytime.
