Yeah i also heard this! As i play for the allstars and are manager now after dan left. And thought dan was helping doing pes events next year.

Maybe he wants to work for pesrankings and thats what he meant? I dont know, but I know for a fact as of now he doesnt work for them and hasnt applied to join either.

Anyway, hope the event goes well and Ben wins

It is a free country but if you work for one company and you are on their direct competitors website site bad mouthing their events when you are working for the event team of the rival company it shows a lack of professionalism.

You mean when I've had my complaints about the team that you were the manager of at the time? The things reguarding my private life? Either way they have nothing to do with this.

I've always been truthful about my position with FIFA and PES. I prefer PES' become a legend mode more than FIFAs be a pro mode and I think the midfield is better used in Pro Evo but that doesn't make it a better game. PES was p*** poor this year and has been for the last 3 years, before that I was an avid PES fan and FIFA had nothing on it.

It's not so much a direct bash at you, it's pointing out the event is being put down by your online friends and yourself who are biased towards PES. It is pointing out that you have no need to comment on this if all you are going to do is put it down. As far as I'm aware you are not even involved with the MYM finals anymore so why come into a thread about it and bad mouth the event that people you know are working on.

There are reasons the rules have not been posted and they are good reasons. I for one think that not posting the rules up before people arrive means that people can't look for ways to abuse the rules and ruin the sportsmanship of the event.

Anyway before this thread is closed I am bowing out of this but it doesn't change my view on how you are putting an event down when you have no reason to other than to make PES look more successful as other posters have also done. Cheap tactics.

To be fair just seems to be alot of moanin on this thread lads, with some people just sturing it abit And i know alot of you are pmin matt alot and messaging him on xbox live cus ive been there when we were playing clubs, there is only so much he can do if ea havent said stuff to him he just cant make it up and put it on the forums to make you happy, thou i wish he would to stop all this bloody moanin! :S

people are asking questions and are not getting answers and people are not clear as to what going on and concerns are coming from people who are scheduled to compete (they have the biggest say) so they are entitled to their opinion as well as you and I.

I dont' say one thing and do another - I give my opinion as I see it and if I change my mind at a later date, am I not entitled to??

I'm not bad mouthing just giving an opinion, and I'm not here to make a game look good how can I??.

the two games will speak for themselves.....simple... and that's another subject

it is moving away from the thread topic - but I'll say this, does 360 movement mean instead of trying to tackle a superstar player like ronaldo and the ball still stays at his feet "tackling the tackler" as someone once called it, does it now mean you can't tackle him at all???, well see how it pan's out in the gameplay

I don't get how people complain about FIFA's tackling and say they like PES tackling. In PES the players make a tackle and take a stance that then gives the opponents other players a chance to steal the ball. When someone tackles in football you go for the ball and attempt to keep it... in PES they tackle and knock the ball a yard or two infront of them meaning if another player for the other team is near by they can steal it. There are also a lot of ways in FIFA to make a tackle using the pressure button, in PES it feels robotic and limited... a very unrealistic view on real football.

deferent views - the two new games will be upon us soon so we'll have a healthy debate on them both when the time comes, so don't go hiding when I come looking for ya.

as for this thread - organisation is the key to a successful event, and if EA is serious about future MYM events then they must learn from various mishapps that has happened, this year (and I'm in a good postition to talk about that)....simply things need to improve overall.

if people give an opinion, then that should be a motivator to say "ok let's look into this or that and let's see if we cannot improve things.
