well played lads, so having a break worked a treat, we've been a little stale, and our team play started to stink and it seemed we were just going through the motions - so I thought we all could benefit from a little time out to recharge the hunger and regain our appetite.

now last night our team play had that MYM magic back, it had soul, and we all played for each other and played as a team...so well played to the defence - nice and calm and dealt with all situations, remember defenders communitication amongst yourselves is key.

Van Basten scored !!! and along with the other midfielders superb play, sticking to our postitons is the key to our strength.

El danzo being greedy is what your about for the good of the team so keep feasting on those delicious passes from your team mates.

Sanderz well played and I'm sure you enjoyed playing with the Allstars,
see you all sunday, same team, same time.

I really enjoyed last night. Only down point for me was when I pressed clear like 12 times only to watch my player act like a *insert multiple bad words here* and lose the ball from the header from Zundrak. Other than that I think I had a good night using the tele cam on normal settings for the first time since recording.

I think everyone had a great night last night and Matt was on fire with his taking the ball slowly but comfortably past players!

On another note Dan has been saying about the cheaters days being numbered and I'm sure we all believe him but I figured I'd post this up here for anyone who hasn't read it yet as it pretty much confirms what Dan has been saying and is always nice to read:

What about disconnects? For this one, we cannot do any better detection than the one our current system is providing. Peer-to-peer means that connections can be lost for network reasons, freak outages… anything really. Understanding how you connect to the Internet and setting up the connection in consequence is key, but we still cannot guarantee 100% connection results. We will strive, though, to keep explaining how to properly set up internet connections, as it is definitely not as easy as plug-and-play! And, oh, downloading risqué videos is a major cause of network disruption, so don’t do it!

Really looking forward to Sunday, now on to data reviewing and being terrorized by the little devil I call my daughter.

Yea, was a good night

Still trying to improve my crossing and hm, general choice making from the wing. I think it's when I have the ball, WBA cuts inside on the left a bit to create two choices (three with matt), and when he has the ball I do so. Was a great improvement in our play last night

I think the new improvements will help our team significantly; with the 360' movement. Should help us cut through the defence better, beating defenders, as well as improve our build up play (I've seen Matt like's to toss and turn with the ball at his feet in the middle, making more members of there team to go towards him, creating space for the top 3).

Can't wait to get practising as a team on FIFA10.

Oh, and it's only a matter of time until someone bangs in one of them drop downs on the outside of the box - WBA came close hitting the post last night lol.

I pray for Online and Offline tournaments for clubs next year!!

My only worry for FIFA 10 is that attackers are obviously going to have a lot of freedom and variety in ways they can pass a defender. I really hope they give manual defenders a chance and make it so we have some new moves to stop the strikers and wingers. With such a big boost to dribbling defenders really need some boosts too.

I think the key to next year for defending is to stay on your feet, if you go down the player can quickly change direction and they're through. Hopefully the idea that was discussed last night will come through and we will have time to practice this before we blitz FIFA10 rankings

Yeah I stay on my feet as long as I can but once I know I can't catch a player but a well timed slide challenge has a chance I'll go for it then.

From what I have read slide challenges have been improved in the next game as the player making the challenge will actually aim for the bal rather than just going in the direction you pressed so if a player charges a defender and brings it onto his right foot the defender will go for the ball and not take out the left foot first. The downside is slide challenges are also more realistic in if you commit to one it takes a little longer to get back to your feet.

I think so long as I'm still in the team come FIFA 10 I'll adapt

Massively mistaken - and as we are a official team to EA, we abide by rules given to us.

I certainly don't have a ego - ego's are no good to any team and the all the players would of all walked out on this team ages ago

we've been going very strong for a very long time - as well as planning as a team to move forward onto fifa10, and that does not happen if there is a manager with ego.

ummm discriminate? doubt it, If anything I'd say we're the opposite and want people of all walks of life to join, hell we even let scousers in

The only rules of this team is UK only and that is because it is the wishes of EA, not any team member or manager, in all honesty I really miss one of the non UK members and would prefer he was brought back but that is out of anyones hands.

As for Dan, he's a top man and doesn't have any ego at all.
