Liverpool defense , in particular, is very slow and weak. Extremely difficult to play against skilled and fast offensive players. Dann, I guess we need to try 2-3 different teams - ManCity, Lyon, Sevillia, Villa.... Just to try and see how you as a manager see "pros and cons" of each team. Players will give their feedback too... I know there might be a lot of Liverpool fans in our squard )) But need to think further - what team might power up our players skills. As for my reflection of playing with the team for the first time, overall it was excellent teamplaying, very aggressive and result-oriented offense. One-two touches passing , quick and accurate. Allzo7 did outstanding job last night, great playing, I believe Babel would envy your skills, mate )))) Center Midfield - good defensive skills, good tackles, blocking, breaking attacks. One thing was missing I guess was quick changing of wings while creating an attack. Sometimes there are a lot of players (ours and oponent ones) on 1 wing, so it's better to turn 90 degrees and switch wings. There will be more space and opportunity for clear pass. Defense was solid and efficient. As a result, we got very few goals in. Greta job with offsides. We kept one line and created a lot, a lot of offsides breaking dangerous attacks. But defense is a collective thing. So I believe overall defense was good because MIDFIELD played very well defensively and there were no large gaps between Defenders and Mids. I played RB and LCB. Did OK for first time I guess. Looking forward for Thursday. (Maybe another Rus song if Mikey asks ))))Maximus |

that's exactly how I'm thinking at the moment Maximus.
totally agree with what everyones saying. I did notice allzo's finishing using babel compared to when he uses young....lol then there's Eldanzo who has to play slightly different when using torres instead of carew. your manager do'snt miss a trick and I do notice things

Weder Bremen also good side if you are trying teams out ;P
Tall centre back pairing: Mertersacker and Naldo even pasanen(rb) is quite tall. Good strikers: Almeida and Pizarro Then you got frings and baumann. and the magic of Diego.

Remember we could play as national teams too!
Holland, despite the weird names, have a very good squad from an attacking point of view. I've not checked out their defence, but their wingers are very quick and I'm sure they've got a 6"something striker who's really strong. |

Holland is a VERY good shout. I tried to get one of my old clubs onto them, but it fell through because they were so concerned about being a 'big name.' Names aside, Holland has a very good squad, even if they aren't licensed. Furthermore, their set formation is 4-3-3, so they have plenty of players who are able to fit into the system.

Just a thought. It's the first name that came to mind when we opted to change team.
4 and a half. Similar To Liverpool. Better at the back. Roma. Danzo + Totti/The Beast = match made in heaven. Aquilani,Perrota,De Rossi in the midfield. And you've got those two speed freaks for the wings. Edit - Not sure about Holland,if im honest. They are good.........but,whenever i've went them, they seem a bit lightweight. Not a team you can win ugly with. Fiorentina's lightning quick with Gilardino and Mutu, but i cant speak for whats left. Atletico's too small. Cant pass comment on Werder Bremen. Leverkusen are GIANTS. But not really suited to our play. Sevilla's good, but kind of a crappier version of Liverpool. Can't help but feel it's a toss up between Villa,Roma and Liverpool. I think we're getting a little carried away. Yes,the goals were flying in but still. Big picture and all that. PS cheers for the song Aces .

Who do you see as quick in Roma bairns? I'm struggling to think of any!
![]() Fiorentina, the names are escaping me at the moment, but they do have a couple of listed wingers, (wingers are the fastest type of player on clubs.) Believe one is called Santana, another may be Jorgensen... Defence maybe a little short, midfield not too bad. Still don't think Sevilla or Holland can be ruled out. Both very good for our style of footy. |

We don't have to be a 4 and a half star team, right? We can be a four star team and so on, but not a five star team, as far as I know!
If the stats change depending on the positions, we could look for a really strong team that isn't five stars.. there's plenty out there. Hamburg would be a shout from me, I enjoy using them! |
