Bill, how can you possibly be constructive if you're admitting yourself that you don't go? MYM has just started, we're in our first season and just like everything else in life, it takes a while to really get going

Im speaking about MYM Im in a rant thread – its is not trolling or spamming. Read up on your forum knowledge

The reason I dont attend MYM is

there is nothing in my area
I cant see who has registered to events
The event numbers are poor so im not risking traveling
The site appears half assed not your fault as I take it your not a developer
all you play is KOs
im not great at fifa and this appears to be designed for the best players only. thanks i love travelling to be embarrased
you have a tiny community of players
you have a tiny number of venues
im dont care if its free im never gonna make the finals so the prize means nothing
Online is the future of gaming not offline.

constructive enough?

So if you have no intention of playing then why post about it... if you had bothered to read most of the discussion forums in this thread about upgrades needed etc... then most of the points you would of raised would of been answered already

But you have failed to do that and without doing any research into the events that are run and numbers of people that have attended..... you have pretty much posted stuff you have made up.

As for aggressive approach and posts... you really do live in a secluded world if you feel that being straight to the point is aggressive.

imo, its quite apparent you have no idea what MYM is about and how we are trying to build upon it.... Rome was not built in a day as some say

Anyway, you have had your say.... no need to speak about it anymore because quite frankly, you can't bring any further debate to the table.... and thats why you have tried to argue and cause unrest

Honestly, you are not doing yourself any favours other then making people resent you even more than they already probably do..... in the matter of two threads, I have lost all respect and time for you... so even if you did post something interesting and constructive... it would be wasted because of the way you have acted beforehand.

Because Bernie.... he does not really care about MYM and has no real idea about it... He also has not proposed any solutions to how to improve MYM.

He just wants to argue on a topic and unfortunately his picked on MYM

Matt, there's a lesson for him in this - don't judge a book by it's cover.

You have no idea about the events as you do not attend... you have no facts about numbers in attendance (which are very positive) and yet you base your opinions on the turnout of one event.

Yet you ahve failed to credit previous turnouts at Birmingham and other venues like GameArena and XtremeGaming.

Yes we know about the issues with the site and forums.... and that we have to run KO style events.... I highlighted this all before as I don't like the set up myself and have put forward a report of vital changes that are needed.... and it will happen in time.

We are increasing the number of venues aswell... soon we will have Manchester, London and Ireland venues on the roster.... and we will look to expand on that aswell.

These things take time in new projects and even though I am very excited about the rest of the season.... Season 2 will be when we should be looking to make a really big impact.

I just don't see how you can have a go at something, when you have no personal experience of it....

I cannot understand your attitude as your profile its says you are a Teacher... If that is the case, then surely one of your keys theories must be, to learn and be educated in an area... you must experience it or at least research it

Tbh... Sykes did not say anything wrong.... The way you posted in this thread and the Birmingham event thread beforehand was exactly the same.... Sykes just told you what anyone else would of said.

The one thing I will say... is that if the changes to the site do not happen soon, then it could impact on attendance numbers.

All in all MYM has had a very positive reaction and at the stage we are at with the site... things look very rosy indeed.

Now i know recently,i've been far from diplomatic *cough*, but calling him a prat instead of either ignoring it,or coming up with something witty or reasonedisn't particularly fair. I'm sure his sole intention was to be funny, not to cause offence.

Live and let live all?
