The below information can be found on the MYM site.
But in case you can't find it, I have posted it in here 1. General The opening time and date of the Tournament is Thursday 30th October 2008 at 00:01 GMT, and the closing date and time for participation in the opening round is 31st JULY 2009 at 23:59 GMT. Entrants joining after this time will not be considered. 2. Restrictions This competition is open to UK residents aged thirteen (13) and over only. Employees (and members of their immediate family) of “Electronic Arts” (“EA”) (“Promoter”), their agents and anyone connected to this competition are not eligible to enter. Entrants under eighteen (1 must provide parental consent to be eligible for the prize.3. Rules to participate This is a two stage, skill based competition. To enter the competition participants must register their details on the Meet Your Match (“MYM”) website EA - Meet Your Match. Only one entry is permitted per person. Season The Season begins on Friday 3rd October 2008 at 00:01 GMT and ends Friday 3rd July 2009 at 23:59 GMT (“League Stage”). Entrants will play events based on the MYM rules available in these Terms & Conditions and here: http://mym.eafootballworld.com/terms.php.The top thirty-two (32) entrants at the end of the League Stage (“Finalists”) will advance to the Knockout Stage of the competition. Grand Final The Finalists will play against each other with the winner proceeding to the next round of the competition and the runner up exiting the competition. Finalists must be able to attend the knockout events in person. EA will not provide travel for finalists. Should an event be cancelled EA will attempt to contact all participants in advance. EA will not be liable for any costs incurred by finalists due to the cancellation of an event if such cancellation is beyond EA’s control. EA recommends that finalists obtain suitable insurance before travelling. The final four (4) Finalists will play two matches. The winners of their respective first matches will proceed to the “Final”. The runners up will proceed to the “Third Place Playoff”. 4. Prize(s) The winner of the “Final” will receive the first (1st) place prize. The runner up of the “Final” will receive the second (2nd) place prize. The winner of the “Third Place Playoff” will receive the third (3rd) place prize. The runner up of the “Third Place Playoff” will receive the fourth (4th) place prize. 1st Place Prize - £5,000 2nd Place Prize - £2,500 3rd Place Prize - £1,500 4th Place Prize - £1,000 There are no cash alternatives to these prizes. They are as stated and are non-transferable. If due to circumstances beyond the control of EA, EA is unable to provide the stated prizes, EA reserves the right to award substitute prizes of equal value. All prizes are subject to the terms and conditions of the supplier. 5. Results Winners will be contacted by telephone on or around Monday 31st August 2009. If the winner of the prize cannot be traced within 30 days after reasonable efforts have been made by EA, EA will be entitled to select alternative winner from among the entrants. If the winner of the prize does not claim the prize within 60 days the prize will forfeit. A full list of who won will be available for four (4) weeks following the day of the selection of winners. This list can be obtained by writing to EA Football World Meet Your Match Competition, Electronic Arts, Onslow House, Onslow Street, Guildford, Surrey, GU1 4TN If proof of age is requested, the prize shall not be dispatched unless proof of age is received and if satisfactory proof of age is not received, the Promoter reserves the rights to choose another winner. 6. General Conditions Any entry, which does not comply with the rules may be deemed invalid at the sole discretion of EA. EA is not responsible for technical, hardware or software malfunctions, misdirected entries, lost or unavailable network connections, failed, incorrect, garbled, delayed electronic or other communications or other technical problems related to mobile entries. Proof of sending will not be deemed to be proof of delivery. Entrants agree that they may be required to take part in publicity without further consent or payment. Such publicity may include their names and/or likeness. In the event of a dispute, the decision of EA shall be final and legally binding. No correspondence will be entered into. 7. Data protection In order to participate in the campaign participants must provide certain information on themselves. This personal information is collected and processed only for the purposes of organising, running and monitoring the campaign, as well as for carrying out publicity activities on it. The organising entity shall be considered the data controller for the database containing this personal information. By entering this tournament players agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and by any other requirements set out in the promotional material, which may be amended or varied at any time by the Promoter. The Promoter of this prize draw is Electronic Arts Ltd., Onslow House, Onslow Street, Guildford, Surrey, GU1 4TN This prize draw is governed by and is in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. 8. Tournament RulesMatch Rules Match Length: 5 min halves Weather: Day, summer and fine settings Camera Angle: default setting or the next one that is wider. Difficulity setting: World Class Ko stages: If draw extra time followed by penalties Subs: 3 Players have 3 minutes to prepare their formations at the start of a match, and then may only make formation changes at other break intervals. Substitutes and freekick takers options may take place when ball is out of play only. However some venues and admins may allow players to bring saving devices/memory cards with formation data on only. Players cannot swap teams during an event. The player must continuously use the same team they used in their first fixture of the event. Any player that is found to be using different teams for different fixtures will have those results voided. If they continue using different teams then they will be disqualified from the event. If a player fails to complete a fixture with no valid excuse, then a win will be awarded to their opponent. Players have a duty to attend the venue on the time and date that the event is scheduled. If a player turns up late, then they may find that they have been excluded. We suggest if players know they are running late that they should contact the venue and inform them to ensure that they do not lose their place in the event. Cheating and bad sportsmanship will not be tolerated and any player who acts in a way that is deemed to be cheating or unsporting will be removed from the event. Players are responsible to ensure their controller configuration is correct at all times. General Event/Site Rules Players are only allowed to register and compete under one username. Players cannot compete under another person’s username. Abusive behaviour towards other players or events staff at the events will result in event disqualification and consideration for overall removal from the MYM site. Abusive behaviour by players within the MYM forums will result in the same action taking place. The Event Managers decision is final and any disputes that you want to raise can be sent via the Private Messaging system within MYM. Disputes Disputes should be raised with the event managers at the event, however some circumstances may require this to be more private.
