I have read the previos thread re Airborne, and have taken on board the fact that if you uninstall AGEIA PhysX you should be able to install the game, prior to reinstalling PhysX.
What do you do if that doesn't work. Let me explain... I have tried for three days to install Medal of Honor – Airborne, with no luck. At first I got a message prompt advising “Please wait while Windows configures AGEIA PhysX v7.07.09.” A little window would pop up and instantly disappear, and that would be that...Nothing. After doing a Google on Medal of Honor – Airborne and the above prompt, found that people across Europe had been experiencing the same issue. On various forums it was recommended to remove the current AGEIA PhysX installed, reinstall Medal of Honor then install a later version of PhysX. However, upon removing PhysX, although I could now access the main install screen, enter the serial number and watch the game install, as soon as the installation reached the end , the application rolls back the installation and advises that "The installation has ended prematurely because of an error." I am now at a loss at what to do next. If anyone out there has similar experience, I would be most grateful for advice on how to get around this. Thanks in advance. Frustrate MOH player... |
