Default Do you think medal of honor and Call of Duty copy each other.

I think they defiantly do.

MOH tries to do Call Of Duty but fails epically.

Not at all. They're both (recent editions excluded) WWII shooters, if that's what you mean. They will therefore have the same weapons, and the same game style. Medal of honour has a nice cover system, that COD doesnt bother with - but i think COD has the better "Sniper hold breath" thing.
MOHA especially was a more objective orientated game where as COD is like "go here and shoot this" but that's okay, too.

You do also have to think about the variety of story lines that war games can offer. Like what Mat said... They have similar weaponry, similar game goals (to eliminate a cult, group of extremist or terrorist) and similar landscapes.

If we look at the WWII era, there was only so many areas that the soldiers went during WWII. These games have to follow these paths to a point where it could have been a true story in that era. Who were the Armies in this era? The Germans and neighbouring countries as well as the Japanese, and the British, parts of Europe Australian, and later on, the Americans.

In my view, these games don't try to create a huge Epic game with a major twist and unique bosses (Like Metal Gear 3). They try to focus on creating a world that looks and operates in a more realistic way, where walls can be damaged and the oposing side is more tactical then the dopey zombies of Doom.

I'd say no. You have to remember the main diffrence. In most Medel of Honour games, you play James Patterson, who is a member of the OSS, and your often undercover behind the Siegfried Line.
In Call of Duty, your just another solider fighting the the war, abliet, normally American, but meh. You see what I mean.

not at all, in medal of honor games, you play as a special agent of the office of strategic resources or OSS, and you are sent into special missions like dressing up as a nazi commander and infiltrating submarines and stealing special devices, ALA james bond style gameplay, but in call of duty , you play as ordinary soldiers in the frontlines, and more than often, people around you will die,
